"Location and Direction"(hereinafter referred to as "orientation knowledge")belongs to the category of "space and graphics",which plays an important role in cultivating pupils' orientation ability and path integration ability.At present,the research on learning and teaching of positional knowledge in China mainly comes from the experience summary and reflection of front-line teachers in primary schools.Therefore,this study mainly focuses on the learning status and learning disabilities of sixth-grade pupils in positional knowledge.Based on the SOLO classification evaluation theory,320 grade 6 pupils from Nan kai Affiliated Primary School of Tianjin Normal University were investigated by using the test method to understand the students' learning level and overall learning status in the three dimensions of orientation identification,mathematical language expression and hands-on drawing.At the same time,based on Newman's theory of error hierarchy and interviews with teachers and students,this paper analyzes the types and causes of students' learning disabilities in orientation knowledge.Finally,according to the research results,corresponding teaching suggestions and transformation countermeasures are put forward.The results show that the pupils in grade 6 have a poor overall grasp of orientation knowledge,focusing on the two grades of "fail" and "pass".They can reach the level of associated structure in orientation identification,single structure level in mathematical language representation,and multiple structure level in hands-on drawing.At the same time,there are reading comprehension disorder,conversion disorder and operation disorder in students' orientation knowledge.Among them,reading comprehension obstacles in students read don't understand the question,the reason is that students lack of basic knowledge and the problem situation are not familiar with,conversion disorder in condition of problem students,symbolic language and graphic language conversion between,the reason for this is that the students influenced by the mind-set and the related knowledge of forgotten and operation obstacles in students in mathematical language expression and hand drawing The reason why students can not carry out specific processing operation lies in the lack of problem-solving methods and skills and bad learning habits.Based on the above research results,this study advocate teachers should dig deeper into teaching examples,as a bridge between the students build)and forms,and pay attention to students' consciousness of independent exploration and the cultivation of the ability of autonomic learning,let the student fully observation and communication,in addition,in view of the learning disabilities students,teachers should attach importance to the student good reading habits,exercise students' transformation and mathematical language Expression ability,at the same time,but also in the daily practice of strict requirements of the students,the standardization of the answer to put into practice.
