Educational equity is an important content of social equity, and balanced allocation of educational resources is the basic condition to realize educational equity, while school physical education resources are an important part of educational resources,so the balanced allocation of school physical education resources plays an indispensable role in promoting the realization of educational equity. The implementation of the double reduction policy provides a rare opportunity for the development of school physical education.School physical education resources are an important carrier of the development of school physical education. However, the problem of unbalanced allocation of school physical education resources is becoming increasingly prominent, which appears between urban and rural areas, between cities, and even between urban areas and schools in the same city.At present, most scholars study the allocation of school sports resources from the macro level, but from the micro level, there is little research on the allocation of sports resources between urban areas and schools, only to narrow the gap at the micro level is conducive to realizing the fairness at the macro level. Therefore, based on the perspective of education equity, this paper combines qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, and uses literature method, field investigation method, questionnaire survey method, interview method, mathematical statistics method, comparative analysis method and other research methods to study the sports resources of middle schools in urban areas of Guilin city: Research on the allocation of sports human resources, sports financial resources, sports material resources, mainly analyzes the allocation status of sports resources, urban differences and inter-school differences, the main problems and causes, and puts forward the principles and strategies for the optimal allocation of sports resources in urban middle schools of Guilin city from the perspective of education equity. It provides theoretical basis and reference for promoting the fair and reasonable allocation of middle school sports resources in guilin city. The research conclusions are as follows:(1)Allocation of physical education human resources: the shortage of teachers is common, the number of male physical education teachers is far more than that of female physical education teachers,middle-aged and young teachers are the main force of the whole teacher team. The majority of teachers have professional titles, and the proportion of teachers with bachelor degree is the largest. The majority of teachers teach 4-6 classes. Most teachers have more than 12 class hours per week, and think their workload is full and equal to those who just meet the standard.(2)Allocation of sports financial resources: The source channels of sports funds are mainly allocated by the state, and most schools' sports funds are less than 50,000 yuan.(3)Allocation of physical resources: There are a large number of schools with substandard track and field and volleyball courts, and there are sufficient numbers of basketball and football fields. Most schools are in urgent need of indoor gymnasiums, and most schools update sports equipment uniformly every year.(4)Differences in allocation of physical education resources: On the whole, there are significant differences in age structure, title structure and workload of physical education teachers in the 15 schools. The educational investment among urban areas is not balanced, and the distribution of sports stadium area per student among schools in each urban area is not balanced. In the same urban area, schools with sports characteristics invest more sports funds and have more perfect and rich field facilities than schools with non-sports characteristics, but the teachers of non-sports characteristics schools are slightly better than those with sports characteristics. The proportion and workload of teachers with high academic qualifications and professional titles in key schools are larger than those in non-key schools. The distribution of gender and age of teachers in key schools is more balanced than that in non-key schools, and the number of teachers is sufficient. The investment of funds is more than that in non-key schools, and the sports equipment is more perfect than that in non-key schools.(5)The main problems existing in the allocation of middle school physical education resources in urban areas of Guilin: the imbalance of teacher shortage and structure, the imbalance of workload distribution, and the urgent need of special teachers;Single source of sports funds, insufficient investment and lack of implementation;Imbalance between supply and demand of site, low quality equipment and low update frequency, lack of specificity; The problem of heavy text and light text is prominent, and the gap of resource allocation is obvious.(6)The causes of the allocation of middle school physical education resources in urban areas of Guilin: cultural concepts and teachers' subjective initiative; The gap between education investment and economic development; The importance of configuration subjects and the lingering influence of "key schools" policy. In view of the main problems, this paper puts forward the principles of optimal allocation of middle school sports resources in urban areas of Guilin city from the perspective of education equity: resource sharing principle, difference compensation principle and balanced development principle.Strategies: promote the optimization and sharing of teachers, pay attention to the integration of sports and education and talent introduction;Broaden the source channels of funds and perfect the management system of funds;Reasonably plan the site, build the air playground, speed up the equipment update and supply;Change idea, difference compensates, promote balanced economic development.
