With the rapid development of information technology and the further advancement of the informatization of higher education, the blended teaching that integrates the advantages of online and offline teaching is highly appreciated by front-line teachers and researchers because it can provide learners with flexible, timely and continuous learning. The application of blended teaching in colleges and universities is increasingly widespread. The quality of education has always been the core proposition of national policy and the field of education.Although blended teaching is the current trend of higher education teaching reform, because it combines the characteristics of online teaching and face-to-face teaching in the classroom,it involves more influencing factors. The effectiveness of complex, blended teaching has drawn attention.Since the concept of learning engagement was introduced into the field of education, researchers have found that the higher the level of student engagement in learning, the more conducive to academic success. The research on learning input in blended teaching provides new ideas for improving the quality of blended teaching in higher education. The research aims to improve the learning engagement of college students in blended teaching, optimize the design of blended teaching strategies to promote students' learning engagement as a means, apply the strategies in actual teaching and test the effect.Firstly, the literature research on learning engagement at home and abroad is used to sort out the related literature, clarify the theoretical connotation, influencing factors and evaluation methods of learning engagement, and clarify and analyze the research status of learning engagement in blended teaching.Secondly, using the questionnaire survey method to investigate the current situation and influencing factors of learning investment of college students participating in blended teaching, the survey results found that the overall level of learning investment in the current blended teaching teaching of college students is not high, cognitive investment is insufficient, learning planning, monitoring,The weak management awareness and the failure of emotional investment to transform into effective learning and other problems, the analysis results of influencing factors show that the factors affecting college students' learning investment in blended teaching mainly include teacher factors, personal factors, peer factors, and curriculum and environmental factors. Then, based on the results of the questionnaire survey, guided by theories such as teaching interaction theory and learning engagement theory, and following three principles: subjectivity,technology-enabled teaching, and problem-oriented,six strategies for promoting college students' learning engagement in blended teaching were designed, that is,arranging guided courses and helping study preparation;organizing multiple interactions and building a learning community;strengthening teacher guidance and encouraging self-reflection;providing technical monitoring and real-time feedback and tracking;setting a learning example and stimulating learning enthusiasm;group cooperation and competition to stimulate learning motivation. And the above strategies were implemented in the experimental class. After a semester of teaching practice, the results of the questionnaire and the final score of the two classes were compared and analyzed to test the effectiveness of the strategies. The practical results show that the proposed strategy can better improve students' learning input level in blended teaching, improve students' academic performance, and verify the effectiveness of the strategy.
