With the gradual advancement of the new curriculum reform,the participation of junior high school students in classroom teaching is more valued by educators,but in practice,it is found that the participation of junior high school students in rural areas is not ideal,Therefore,it is of great significance to adopt appropriate teaching methods to enhance students' participation in biology class.PBL is a new type of teaching mode,it gives full play to the principal role of students,it believes that classroom teaching should start from the problem situation close to students' own life,and solve the problem by collecting relevant information through independent learning and cooperative inquiry.In order to explore the influence of PBL mode on junior high school students' participation in biology class,this study takes junior high school students in the author?s school of practice as the object of teaching practice.First of all,on the basis of the analysis of the relevant theories of student participation,through a questionnaire survey of the current situation of junior high school students' participation in biology class,analyze the main factors affecting junior high school students' participation in biology class;Secondly,the basic links of PBL mode are determined according to the relevant theories and current investigation results of PBL mode,and the content suitable for PBL teaching is selected from the second volume of biology textbook of Seventh grade,and the PBL mode is used for teaching design.Finally,an experimental study was carried out in two classes of grade 7 for half a year.During the experiment,PBL mode was used in the experimental class,and conventional teaching mode was used in the control class.After the experiment,the results of the experiment were analyzed to study the influence of PBL mode on junior high school students' participation in biology class.The results show that:(1)with the extension of time,the whole situation of student participation in the conventional teaching model in junior middle school biology classroom teaching has declined,among them,the emotions involved in reducing the most obvious,behavior to participate in the second,have reached the significant level,cognitive participation in reduction of the minimum,have not reached the significant level.(2)After adopting PBL model for biology classroom teaching practice,students' behavioral participation has reduced,too,but their cognitive participation and emotional participation are improved.Among them,the decline of behavioral participation and the improvement of cognitive participation did not reach the significant level,while the emotional participation reached the extremely significant level.By analyzing the experimental class and control class,it is found that PBL improves cognitive participation by increasing the deep level strategy and decreasing the shallow level strategy and dependence strategy.The increase of the deep level strategy and decreasing the dependence strategy reach the significance level,while the decrease of the shallow level strategy does not reach the significance level.PBL model promotes emotional participation through the improvement of students' sense of fun and achievement,as well as the reduction of anxiety and boredom.Among them,the improvement of sense of achievement and the reduction of boredom reach the extremely significant level,the improvement of sense of fun reaches the significant level,while the reduction of anxiety does not reach the significant level.(3)PBL model has no significant effect on students' academic performance.Based on the above analysis,this paper puts forward the strategies of using PBL mode to enhance the participation of junior high school students in biology class: Create problem situation to promote students' cognitive participation;Carry out group cooperation to promote students' behavior participation;Timely evaluation to promote students' emotional participation;Create a harmonious atmosphere and optimize the environment for students to participate.
