Study On The Influence Of Family Factors On Primary School Students’ Participation In Extracurricular Physical Exercise ——Take Xi’an Beilin District As An Example

At present,the physical fitness and health of teenagers in China are declining year by year.It is the common responsibility of family,school and society to enhance the physical fitness and health of teenagers.Among them,family factors play a very important role in students’ participation in extracurricular physical exercise,have a far-reaching impact on the healthy growth of teenagers,and play a role in laying a foundation for the cultivation of lifelong physical thought of teenagers.In this paper,960 primary school students from 8 primary schools in Beilin District of Xi ’an and their parents are taken as the investigation objects,and the influence of family factors on the extracurricular physical exercise behavior of primary school students in Beilin District of Xi ’an is analyzed by using the research methods of literature,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and logical analysis.And from the corresponding result level of the study how to strengthen the extracurricular physical exercise behavior of primary school students put forward corresponding suggestions.Results :(1)the chi-square value of exercise frequency between family structure and students’ participation in extracurricular physical exercise was 25.879(p<0.05).(2)The correlation values between the average monthly income of family income and the frequency,time,intensity and liking degree of primary school students’ participation in extracurricular physical exercise are 0.317,0.382,0.122,0.048(P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.05,P>0.05).The correlation values of average sports consumption with the frequency,time,intensity and liking degree of primary school students’ participation in extracurricular physical exercise were 0.270,0.308,0.276,0.112(P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.05).(3)The correlation values of family physical environment and the frequency,time,intensity and liking degree of primary school students’ participation in extracurricular physical exercise are 0.603,0.307,0.414,0.175(P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.01).(4)The correlation values between the frequency of parents’ participation in family sports and the frequency,time,intensity and liking degree of primary school students’ participation in extracurricular physical exercise are 0.129,0.268,0.200,0.219(P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.01).The correlation values of parental participation time were 0.260,0.583,0.460,0.335(P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.01).Discussion topics and their related values 0.285,0.242,0.174,0.213(P <0.01,P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.01).Watching live sports events together and its correlation values are 0.231,0.046,0.032,0.312(P<0.01,P>0.05,P>0.05,P<0.01).(5)The correlation values between parents’ educational level and the frequency,time,intensity and liking degree of primary school students’ participation in extracurricular physical exercise are 0.218,0.177,0.060,0.146(P<0.01,P<0.01,P>0.05,P<0.05).(6)The chi-square value of exercise frequency between family rearing style and primary school students’ participation in extracurricular physical exercise was 127.274(P<0.01).(7)The correlation values between parents’ cognition of physical education and primary school students’ participation in extracurricular physical exercise were0.371,0.237,0.126,0.211(P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.01).(8)The correlation values of parents’ attitude to their children’s participation in extracurricular physical exercise and the frequency,time,intensity and liking degree of primary school students’ participation in extracurricular physical exercise were 0.601,0.480,0.340,0.253(P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.01).Conclusion :(1)the majority of primary school students in beilin district of xi ’an have a good participation in extracurricular physical exercise.Moreover,most parents have good interaction with primary school students,and can spare time to discuss sports topics with students,which plays a great role in promoting primary school students’ interest in sports,and can promote the formation of students’ lifelong sports awareness.(2)About 75% of primary school students like extracurricular physical exercise.They have a good attitude towards extracurricular sports and can often participate in sports.Primary school students participate in extracurricular sports 1 to2 times a week on average,and the average time for each exercise is about an hour,which can basically achieve moderate intensity of exercise.(3)Family structure plays a certain role in the exercise behavior of primary school students,and a stable and harmonious family environment contributes to primary school students’ participation in sports.In addition,a fair and reasonable way of family education is beneficial to the formation of students’ good character,that is to say,the authoritative way of family education studied in this paper is the most beneficial to students’ physical and mental health development.(4)The economic base determines the superstructure.The economic base of a family is the guarantee for the pursuit of material conditions.Income is the premise of consumption.At the same time,the family investment in sports consumption has a great impact on primary school students’ exercise behavior,which can guarantee the stability of students’ participation in sports more stably.(5)Stable physical environment of family sports is the basic condition to guarantee students’ physical exercise needs.At the same time,the impact of family sports participation on primary school students is subtle and latent,with excellent sports participation will greatly affect primary school students’ cognition and behavior of extracurricular physical exercise,can create a good sports atmosphere,but also better stimulate students’ interest in sports.(6)In terms of family factors,parents’ educational level,parents’ sports cognition and attitude to support their children have a deeper impact on pupils’ participation in extracurricular sports.The higher the educational level of parents,the more attention they pay to students’ physical quality.In terms of the knowledge of extracurricular sports,the deeper the cognition of parents,the more imperceptible the attitude and behavior of students to participate in physical exercise.The more parents support students to participate in extracurricular sports,the better the students’ understanding of extracurricular sports,more willing to participate in extracurricular sports,more beneficial to the healthy development of students’ physique,to cultivate students’ lifelong awareness of continuous participation in sports contribution to improve.
