Guizhou province is a multi-ethnic province with rich ethnic culture and folk-art resources.However,some potential art resources suitable for the art education in local secondary vocational schools failed to get due attention,development and utilization.Specifically,the costume elements of the Yi ethnic group in Guizhou are one of the folk art treasures with the characteristics of Guizhou traditional culture,which have a high value of curriculum resources development in art teaching.As an important part of the traditional culture of The Yi people in Guizhou,the clothing of the Yi people in Guizhou with strong characteristics carries the spiritual culture of the Yi people in the form of material,and its unique artistic features and the techniques are of high aesthetic value.Today,under the guidance of the new curriculum standard of art curriculum in secondary vocational schools and under the background of vigorously inheriting and carrying forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture,it is the responsibility of educators to integrate and develop local excellent ethnic cultural resources and apply them into the secondary vocational extended module courses.In this study,to apply the clothing elements of Guizhou Yi ethnic group as art curriculum resources into the secondary vocational art classroom,the author carried out specific practice in her internship school,Guiyang Girls' Vocational High School,in class 2 of infant care major.First of all,in the introduction chapter,the background and significance of the topic,literature review,research content and research methods are described.The first chapter is an overview of the clothing of Yi ethnic group in Guizhou,including the general situation of clothing culture,element characteristics,development status and so on;The second chapter analyses the value of applying guizhou yi costume elements into the secondary vocational art education.The third chapter analyses the feasibility of the relevant teaching principles and teaching modes through the investigation of the current situation of art curriculum in secondary vocational schools,the investigation of the application of guizhou Yi clothing elements into secondary vocational art classes,the physical and mental development of secondary vocational students,so as to provide theoretical support for practical teaching application.The fourth chapter demonstrates the practical application and teaching summary of guizhou Yi costume elements in art teaching in secondary vocational schools.As the focus of this study,this part provides original teaching design according to the different learning modules with guizhou yi clothing elements,expands the category of art education,forming an ethnic characteristic of the fine arts teaching,increases the students' attention and cognition of guizhou yi costumes,improves the students' artistic perception and aesthetics,and stimulates students' creative expression,promotes their professional learning and career development,and eventually help them acquire the ability to understand traditional culture,and thus enhance the confidence of ethnic culture.
