The middle grade of primary school is an important stage of Chinese writing teaching.It not only connects the writing teaching of the lower grade,but also lays the foundation for the writing teaching of the higher grade,which plays an important role in connecting the preceding and the following.However,middle-grade students often have some problems,such as fear of writing,no words to write,lack of interest in writing and so on.How to make students interested in writing,not afraid of and willing to work is a problem worthy of exploration and research.In recent years,as an auxiliary teaching resource,picture books have slowly entered Chinese teaching.Through theoretical research and action practice,this study studies how to apply picture books to the writing teaching of middle grade in primary school.The research content mainly includes the following six parts:The introduction part expounds the research background,research methods and research trends at home and abroad.The first chapter discusses the concept,characteristics and educational value of picture books.The second chapter investigates and analyzes the current situation of writing teaching in middle grade of primary school,obtains the cognition and attitude of teachers and students to writing teaching through interviews,and analyzes the problems existing in writing teaching in middle grade combined with observation.The third chapter demonstrates the feasibility of applying picture books to writing teaching of middle grade in primary school.The fourth chapter analyzes the research ideas of applying picture books to writing teaching in middle grade of primary school,and demonstrates and reflects on the theory through action practice.Based on the previous investigation and action practice,the fifth chapter puts forward some suggestions on the application of picture books in the writing teaching of middle grade in primary school.Based on the current situation investigation and the results of action practice research,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the application of picture books in middle-grade writing teaching from the three levels of teachers,students and schools:At the teacher level,it is suggested to enrich teachers' knowledge system of picture books and improve teachers' ability to use picture books;create a good picture book reading atmosphere and increase the accumulation of students' writing materials;pay attention to the guiding methods and help students master the writing methods;attach importance to evaluation feedback and improve students' writing ability.At the student level,it is suggested to stimulate students' interest in writing by relying on the content of picture books;cultivate students' observation ability by relying on pictures in picture books;enrich students' language accumulation by relying on the characteristics of picture books;improve students' imagination ability by relying on situations of picture books.At the school level,it is suggested to develop characteristic courses of reading and writing of picture books;actively carrying out picture book teaching activities;and building a teaching resource platform for picture books.
