The course "physical education and health" is a compulsory course in the stage of compulsory education in China.The CPC Central Committee and the State Council promulgated the "opinions on deepening education and teaching reform and comprehensively improving the quality of compulsory education" in June 2019.There are many contents about physical education teaching.The curriculum standard of physical education and health in junior middle school(2011 Edition)has made a series of adjustments to the curriculum standard of physical education and health,adopted the organizational form of the combination of compulsory and elective contents,increased teaching tips and accompanied by specific teaching requirements.Junior middle school students are in the key stage of physical and mental development.It is an important period to strengthen physical exercise,enhance physique and cultivate lifelong sports consciousness.Maslow's demand theory believes that motivation is the fundamental reason that drives people to engage in various activities.Therefore,we should pay attention to the motivation of students to participate in sports and health course,take targeted measures to improve the motivation level of students to participate in sports,grasp the experience of campus sports,and promote the healthy development of middle school students' body and mind.This paper uses various research methods,such as literature,questionnaire,interview and mathematical statistics,and takes the junior middle school in Changbai Mountain Area as the survey scope.It selects 1500 students from five middle schools,including the first primary middle school in Chixi District,the nine-year school in Chi Nan District,the first primary middle school in Chi Bei District,Fusong No.10 middle school and the nine-year school in Songjianghe Town,as the survey objects.300 students are randomly selected from each middle school to participate in the study.The results show that:(1)The total level of junior middle school students' motivation to participate in the sports and health course in Changbai Mountain area is 64.20 points,the level of internal motivation is significantly higher than that of external motivation,and the level of non motivation is the lowest,indicating that junior middle school students' participation in the sports and health course in Changbai Mountain area is mainly driven by internal motivation.(2)Gender and grade have a significant impact on the motivation of junior middle school students to participate in physical education and health course in Changbai Mountain area.(3)Sports cognition level,sports emotion and parents' sports habits have a significant impact on the motivation of junior middle school students to participate in the sports and health course in Changbai Mountain area.(4)The teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching methods and teaching evaluation methods of physical education and health course have a significant impact on the motivation of junior middle school students to participate in physical education and health course in Changbai Mountain area.(5)The importance of the middle school entrance examination to the investigation of "physical education and health course",media publicity and community sports environment have a significant impact on the motivation of junior middle school students to participate in "physical education and health course" in Changbai Mountain area.In view of the above situation,this paper suggests that schools,families and society should pay attention to the guidance of junior middle school students' motivation to participate in sports and health course,optimize the teaching design of junior middle school sports and health course,pay attention to the differences of junior middle school students' motivation to participate in sports and health course,and strengthen the team construction of physical education teachers,In order to improve the motivation level of junior middle school students to participate in the course of physical education and health,and promote the healthy development of junior middle school students' body and mind through physical exercise.
