Aesthetic education is an education that shapes students’ positive and healthy aesthetic taste,purifies students’ soul and improves students’ realm of life.It is of great significance for students’ all-round development.In school education,aesthetic education is not only the task of aesthetic education curriculum,strengthening the aesthetic education function of various disciplines is also an indispensable way to improve students’ aesthetic education literacy.The opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and improving school aesthetic education in the new era issued in 2020 pointed out: "fully tap and apply the rich aesthetic education resources contained in various disciplines,such as spiritual beauty,etiquette and music beauty,language beauty,behavior beauty,scientific beauty,order beauty,health beauty,diligence beauty and art beauty,which embody the spirit of Chinese aesthetic education and national aesthetic characteristics." It is further clarified that all disciplines are important resources of aesthetic education,and all disciplines have aesthetic education value.As a subject with both humanism and instrumentality,Chinese contains rich aesthetic education elements and values.On the one hand,Chinese is about the education of language art.In language art,the rhythm of language,the structure of articles and the organization of language itself have formal beauty.On the other hand,the humanism of Chinese discipline is closely related to the essence of aesthetic education,and both emphasize the integrity of people’s inner world.Therefore,it is appropriate and necessary to carry out aesthetic education in Chinese teaching.Chinese teaching materials are the basis of Chinese teaching.Excavating the aesthetic education elements in teaching materials and studying the aesthetic education value of these elements will help give full play to the aesthetic education value of Chinese discipline and realize the aesthetic education function of Chinese discipline.This study mainly uses the content analysis method,takes the unified compilation of Chinese teaching materials for Grade 5 of primary school as the research object,and analyzes the aesthetic education elements in the teaching materials from three aspects: external form,text genre and text content,specifically from the overall beauty of illustrations,the appropriateness of binding design,the distribution beauty of fonts,and the aesthetic education elements of external form,from the beauty of rhythm of poetry,the beauty of structure of prose,the beauty of elements of novels,the narrative beauty of narrative The United States analyzes the aesthetic education elements in the text genre,and analyzes the aesthetic education elements in the text content from the natural beauty,social beauty and artistic beauty.It also analyzes the value of aesthetic education elements from three aspects: promoting students’ aesthetic development,intellectual development and moral development.On this basis,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the use of teaching materials reflecting the value of aesthetic education from five aspects: grasping the connotation of aesthetic education,restoring the essence of Chinese,deeply studying teaching materials,excavating the key points of aesthetic education,clarifying the direction of aesthetic education,setting aesthetic education objectives,making use of aesthetic education elements,enriching classroom forms,and flexibly carrying out teaching according to stylistic characteristics.
