Chinese youth in the new era must have national feelings and humanistic care.“ideological and political education of the curriculum” is a new requirement for students to carry out ideological and political education in an all-round way.Hence,biology education in senior high school should conform to the current development situation,give full play to the characteristics of the subject and educational value,and conform to the trend of political and ideological integration education in universities,primary and secondary schools.It is imperative to integrate ideological and political education into biology teaching.By reviewing relevant literature,the important speech of President Xi Jinping,and various documents and policies,it is found that “ideological and political education of the curriculum” has become a research hotspots.However,the research is mainly focused on the university level,few scholars have studied “ideological and political education of the curriculum” on the secondary school level.Besides,the investigation of thinking politics elements in biology teaching is not deep enough.Based on the analysis of literature,we can define “ideological and political education of the curriculum” in biology as a teaching practice that takes biology classroom teaching as the main channel,explores and grasps the characteristics of thinking politics elements in biology,and infiltrates ideological and political education in an invisible way.To understand the current implementation status of “ideological and political education of the curriculum” in high school biology teaching,this research take high school teachers and students in City H,central China as the survey object to investigate the current situation of integrating “ideological and political education of the curriculum” in high school biology teaching and found that there are problems such as insufficient understanding of the concept of ideological and political education of the curriculum by teachers,improper grasp of the implementation of ideological and political education of the curriculum by teachers,and imperfect evaluation system of curriculum ideology and politics.Based on theoretical research,present situation investigation and teaching practice,this study draws the following conclusions in the aspect of teaching and construction of “ideological and political education of the curriculum” of biology discipline: there are sufficient theoretical and practical bases as well as subjective and objective conditions for implementing “ideological and political education of the curriculum” in high school biology teaching;vigorously carrying out relevant training and changing teachers' cognitive misunderstanding are beneficial to improve and strengthen teachers' ideological and political literacy as well as teaching concept in curriculum;in the biology teaching,we should dig out ideological and political resources and find the joint-point of biology and ideological and political teaching,such as patriotism,ecological civilization,civic responsibility,scientific thinking and scientific spirit,biological aesthetic interest and life view education,etc;use the Internet platform rationally,learn about the excellent ideological and political educational means and teaching methods,and further optimize curriculum ideological and political implementation approaches;strengthen top-level design,rely on the school platform to carry out basic education research,and establish curriculum ideological and political evaluation system.Biology is not only a basic subject in natural science,but also one of the most important subject courses in the field of science.Under the education system of the new era,education guides young people to consciously grasp the life opportunities of the new era and make morality a scientific beacon.
