In contrast to the willingness to marry later and asceticism,there are a number of young people who have stayed away from marriage simply because they fear and worry about it.In addition to the individual's own internal causes,the fear of marriage also has a lot to do with the current external marital environment.In view of the similarity of the problems of marriage-phobic Youth,group work has great advantages as a professional approach.In this study,we conducted semi-structured interviews and participant observation with the marriageable young people in d community who were fearful of marriage in q social work organization,and obtained the status quo of marriageable young people who were fearful of marriage about their own marital problems,further comb out the causes of fear of marriage and the impact of factors.Then,guided by the theory of interpersonal communication needs,combined with attachment theory and group work as the carrier,the study was carried out with the goal of reducing intimacy fear and interpersonal trust fear of marriage-phobic youth.The intervention focused on “Intimacy fear”and “Interpersonal trust fear”,which was designed by the growth and treatment group to 8 marriageable youth in d community,around the“Original family”,“Growth experience”,“Cooperative behavior”activities.How effective the group is should be evaluated.In order to reflect the objectivity and scientific nature of the assessment,the team not only used the self-assessment of social workers and the satisfaction assessment of team members,but also used the scale assessment to measure before,during and after the group.The results showed that the intervention goal of the group was basically achieved,and the fear of intimacy and interpersonal trust of the eight group members decreased to different degrees.Finally,through this group,the author puts forward some relevant suggestions from the individual,family and society levels.
