Scientific and systematic music pedagogy is an essential educational tool in the process of choral music teaching.The Kodály method of music teaching is distinctly contemporary and national,and is a scientific,systematic and rigorous system of music education.It is one of the most influential music teaching methods in the world today and has gained universal recognition and support in the international music community.The Kodály Method places singing at the core of music education and promotes polyphonic singing education.Therefore,it is very suitable for basic music education in schools,especially for choral music teaching in elementary school.Therefore,it has been favored by many music teachers in China's basic choral music education.But what is the current status of the application of Kodály education system in elementary school choral classes in Zhengzhou area? How well do teachers use the Kodály method in elementary choral classes? What is the status of students' mastery and application of the Kodály method? What are the problems that need to be solved in the current application? Based on the above questions,the author investigated the current situation of the Kodály Method in elementary school chorus classes in five elementary schools in Zhengzhou.The study was conducted from the perspective of a case study to find out the problems and solve them.This study has some practical significance for basic choral education in schools in the region.In this thesis,literature analysis method,questionnaire survey method,and case study were mainly used.The teachers and students of five elementary school in Zhengzhou area were understood and investigated,the application and mastery of the Kodaji teaching method teaching ideas and teaching tools.Based on the understanding of the application status of the above situation,the author collated and analyzed the investigated data,and came up with some problems of Kodály teaching method in elementary school chorus class in Zhengzhou area,and tried to put forward his own suggestions to solve these existing problems.The article has five main chapters,the first of which provides an overview of the Kodály Method.It briefly outlines the artistic life of Kodály,the main educational philosophy and characteristics,the main teaching methods,and the development and influence of Kodály's teaching method in China.The second chapter briefly introduces elementary school children's chorus.It mainly introduces the development of children's chorus in China,and the characteristics and importance of children's chorus in elementary school.The third chapter is a survey of the current situation of the Kodály Method applied in elementary school choral classes in Zhengzhou area,containing the data results and analysis of the survey.The fourth chapter section analyzes and summarizes the current situation of the application of Kodály teaching method in elementary school choral classes in Zhengzhou area,and puts forward the existing problems and corresponding solutions.The main problems include the lack of systematic learning opportunities for teachers and the lack of folk music education for students.The article also attempts to make some humble suggestions to address these problems.Finally,the fifth chapter of the article summarizes some thoughts on the application of the Kodály Method in elementary school choral teaching in Zhengzhou through the investigation and analysis of the current situation of the application of the Kodály Method in Zhengzhou.
