A Study Of Play Therapy Intervention On Hospital Adaptation Of Children With Leukemia

According to the relevant research,children with leukemia suffer from physical pain and treatment,but also under heavy psychological pressure.Whether sick or hospitalized,as long as it is in a medical situation,for children with leukemia,is a terrible experience full of unknowns.The first hospital chemotherapy,physiologically to accept a large number of examinations and drug treatment,psychological role of the disease is difficult to accept for a while and cause a variety of unsuitable problems,these are not conducive to the treatment of the disease and the healthy development of the body and mind.This study is mainly based on the theory of social learning and the theory of play therapy,through the group work method,case work method to carry out practical intervention,to explore the play therapy for the first hospitalization of children with leukemia hospitalization intervention effect.The author took 40 children who were first hospitalized in the department of children's hematology at X Hospital in Hunan Province as the subject of investigation,collect data through questionnaire,interview and field observation method,and evaluate their hospitalization adaptation,and the survey results will be analyzed using SPSS 19.0.The results showed that children with leukemia who were hospitalized for the first time had problems of poor adaptation in the medical environment,physical and psychological under the role of the disease,and in hospital life.The author selected 12 of the 40 respondents as the intervention objects,through the use of group work method and case work method,in the group work,using the play theory and social learning theory,to create a specific medical situation,play the role of observation learning and model learning,promote the team members to adapt to the medical environment,alleviate the medical fear,and guide the team members to form the correct coping style in the face of disease,improve their physiological and psychological adaptation under the role of disease.Enrich the group's hospital life through the game activities,improve their hospital life adaptation.In the case work,the two service objects to intervene in the case,link resources,relieve the financial pressure of the client,use play therapy to soothe the client's mental state,promote the client's understanding of the sick role,through the way of play companionship,to alleviate the case owner's bad mood problems during the hospital stay,enrich the case owner's hospital life.The summary part elaborated on the effectiveness of the service,that is,play therapy promotes the improvement of the hospitalization status of leukemia children,group activities help children to learn active medical behaviors,and the game companionship of case service has a healing function on the client's psychology.Reflect on the research and put forward three suggestions for improving the hospitalization of children with leukemia.The first is that the hospital actively introduces the Sunshine Ward Project,the second is to give play to the adjustment role of the main caregivers,and the third is to strengthen the construction of the talent team of medical social workers.
