Heroes are the backbone of the Chinese nation and show lofty spiritual character.Heroes are worthy of respect and learning by Chinese.However,since the reform and opening up,historical nihilism and other bad thoughts have vilified heroes in many ways and seriously damaged their reputation.Influenced by historical nihilism,some young people who have not yet fully mature their world outlook,outlook on life and values no longer respect and learn from heroes,or even question them.In this regard,entering the new era,in accordance with the historical mission of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,Xi Jinping has emphasized the importance of hero education on many important occasions,and pointed out that we should “remember heroes”,“advocate heroes”,“defend heroes”,“learn from heroes”,“care for heroes” and “strive to be heroes”,and “let the young heroes become the driving force of the Chinese nation to accelerate towards the great rejuvenation”.Therefore,the integrated construction of hero education in ideological and political courses in universities,primary and secondary schools can better fulfill the requirements of Xi Jinping's important discourse on hero education.It is of great significance to enhance the effectiveness of hero education in the new era and train more young heroes in the new era for the early realization of the Chinese dream.After investigating the current situation of the compilation of ideological and political course textbooks,the current situation of the teaching of ideological and political course teachers and the current situation of the hero education in colleges,middle schools and primary schools,it is found that the hero education in ideological and political courses in universities,primary and secondary schools has achieved some achievements,but there are still some problems that need our attention,such as “the hero education goal is not clear”,“the hero education content is simple and repetition”,“the hero education way is single and boring”,“the hero education achievements appraisal is lacking”,“the heroic educational resources are yet to be used”,and so on.Through the analysis of the existing problems in the integration construction of hero education in the ideological and political courses of colleges,middle schools and primary schools,it is not difficult to find the causes of these problems,including the level of education management,the level of school teaching,the level of ideological and political course teachers,and the level of social environment.In order to solve the above problems,we need to take targeted measures to improve the integrated construction of hero education in ideological and political courses,such as making overall planning of teaching objectives,systematically arranging of teaching contents,innovating and enriching of teaching methods,reforming and improving the assessment methods,and actively creating a pattern of “three wholes” education.Then we can enhance the effectiveness of hero education in ideological and political courses in colleges,middle schools and primary schools to train more young heroes in the new era for the Chinese dream.
