As the mainstay of primary and secondary school physical education,primary and secondary school physical education teachers are the lifeblood of the development of physical education at the level of basic education.At present,most of the topics about the scientific research ability of physical education teachers are discussed around "how to improve the scientific research ability of physical education teachers in colleges and universities",lack of attention to "improvement of the scientific research ability of physical education teachers in primary and middle schools",and ignore the effect of scientific research on the teaching of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools.Substantial help brought.Paying attention to the cultivation of the scientific research ability of physical education teachers in elementary and middle schools will help promote the professional development of teachers and provide a guarantee for the reform and development of school physical education.Therefore,in order to improve the scientific research ability of primary and middle school physical education teachers,this paper adopts research methods such as literature,expert interviews,questionnaire survey,empirical analysis,mathematical statistics,etc.,based on investigating the actual situation of primary and secondary school physical education teachers ' scientific research ability and revealing the real dilemma.Try to explain the main factors that affect the improvement of the scientific research ability of physical education teachers in elementary and middle schools,and explore the practical ways to improve the scientific research ability of physical education teachers in elementary and middle schools.The first part is the introduction.Explain the research background of the thesis from three aspects: the objective requirements to promote the professional development of physical education teachers in elementary and middle schools,the realistic demands of deepening the reform and development of physical education in elementary and middle schools,and the interest and attention of researchers;the theoretical significance and practical significance are explained from two levels.The research significance of this article: review and comb the literature from the interpretation of core concepts and the scientific research capabilities of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools at home and abroad to lay the foundation for follow-up research;and put forward the research ideas and technical routes of this article on this basis.The second part is to explain the research objects and methods of this article.This article takes "the scientific research ability of primary and middle school physical education teachers" as the research object,uses literature data,questionnaire surveys,expert interviews,empirical analysis,mathematical statistics,etc.as research methods,and uses a combination of stratified sampling and random sampling to select Hunan Province 223 physical education teachers from 26 elementary and middle schools in Changsha-Zhutan-Zhutan area conducted an investigation and research aimed at revealing the internal laws of the scientific research ability of physical education teachers in elementary and middle schools.The third part is to clarify the relevant theories about the scientific research ability of physical education teachers in elementary and middle schools.It mainly focuses on the analysis of the meaning of the scientific research ability of physical education teachers,the formation and development mechanism of the scientific research ability of physical education teachers,the basic components of the scientific research ability of physical education teachers,and the phased requirements of the development of scientific research ability of physical education teachers,which lays a foundation for the follow-up research of the thesis.Theoretical hinder the improvement of the scientific research ability of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools mainly include: inaccurate awareness and positioning of sports scientific research,lack of systematic sports scientific research theoretical knowledge and skills,the phenomenon of disconnection between sports scientific research and physical education teaching,and continued sports scientific research.The relative absence of education and training,the limited time and funding support for sports scientific research,and the inadequacy of the school sports scientific research management system are six aspects.The sixth part is to analyze the main factors that affect the improvement of the scientific research ability of physical education teachers in elementary and middle schools.It mainly includes factors at the conceptual level,school level,system level,and teacher level.Among them,the conceptual level is mainly: some school leaders do not pay enough attention to sports scientific research,physical education teachers need to deepen their understanding of the nature of sports scientific research activities,and some middle and primary school physical education teachers have misunderstandings in scientific research concepts;the school level mainly includes: school scientific research institutions training and guidance Not in place,schools lack a scientific and effective sports scientific research evaluation mechanism,school-based sports teaching and research activities in primary and secondary schools are not effective;the system level is
