A Study On University Counsellors' Approach To Carrying Out The Legal Education On Students

Colleges and universities are important positions for legal education,and at the same time an important carrier to promote the quality of college students.Counselors have close contact with college students,and they have the unique advantages of daily,real-time,emotional,and fine-grained legal education for college students.The rule of law education is a systematic project.There are multiple educational forces.Although the counselor is not the leader,it is an indispensable force of the rule of law education.Counselors are responsible for the important mission of cultivating universities to become loyal advocates,Conscious followers,and firm defenders of the socialist rule of law.At present,counselors have made great achievements in carrying out legal education for college students.However,relative to their unique advantages,counselors have not played enough value in carrying out legal education for college students.Through the investigation of the current situation,the following shortcomings are found in the counselors' legal education for college students: the role of counselors in the college's legal education is not clear;the level of legal literacy of counselors cannot meet the needs of students;counselors are not enough in the selection of the content of legal education for college students The precision and education methods are relatively simple;the counselors are restricted by objective conditions and fail to give full play to the combined forces of the three types of education.The reasons for the shortcomings of counselors in carrying out legal education for college students are: the evaluation mechanism and reward system of colleges and universities for counselors' legal education are not perfect;counselors lack confidence in the role of legal education for college students;counselors are exploring the content of legal education and There are deficiencies in form;the inherent constraints of counselors in carrying out legal education for college students have not been effectively overcome.Contrasting with the meaning of the rule of law education and examining the status quo,in order to enhance the effectiveness of the legal education for college students,the following optimization paths should be adopted: First,focus on ideological innovation and continuously optimize the idea of counselors' legal education for college students.Second,focus on functional advantages and scientifically determine the content of legal education for college students by counselors.Third,based on the characteristics of roles,we should focus on exploring the ways in which counselors can carry out legal education for college students.Fourth,make use of resources from all sources and give full play to the cohesive role of counselors in carrying out legal education for college students.
