In today’s society,due to the ever-increasing travel needs of the public,the automobile industry is constantly developing,and at the same time,automobile manufacturing is gradually showing a trend of intelligence and high production capacity.As the core device of automobile power,the quality of the engine is related to the performance of the whole vehicle.In the automatic production line of automobile engine,the cleat press is one of the important equipment of the core station,and the good performance of the cleat press can improve the production efficiency of the automobile automatic production line.At present,the commonly used equipment is manual cleat pressing machine and cylinder type cleat pressing machine.The above two kinds of equipment have low precision and poor production efficiency.To sum up,in order to improve the quality and efficiency of automobile manufacturing,it is urgent to design a cleat press with high productivity,intelligence and good stability.This paper mainly studies from the following two aspects:1.Through the analysis of the control requirements of the lock press system,the hardware system is designed,the pressing process of the lock press is analyzed,the control process is determined,and the movement mathematical model is established.Based on the completion of touch screen interface design and PLC programming,the touch screen program and PLC program are debugged and tested.The results show that the control process is accurate and meets the requirements.2.Based on the analysis of the characteristics,process and control system of the lock press mounting,it is decided to change the manual press mounting or cylinder press mounting to servo press mounting.Servo drive as a system has a wide range of applications,it has high dynamic,good stability,accurate positioning,very wide speed range and high overload capacity.With the addition of servo control,it can improve the efficiency of press mounting,improve the stability of press mounting,and improve the quality of press mounting.
