At present,tower crane monitoring and management system is mostly composed of two modules: monitoring terminal and remote monitoring center.The monitoring terminal is used to display the tower crane operation parameters for the tower crane driver in the form of graphics and text,and transmit the tower crane operation parameters to the remote monitoring center.And the remote monitoring center is responsible for processing and displaying the received data for the purpose of remote monitoring.The core of realizing remote monitoring is data transmission.However the tower crane data transmission system was not widely studied,which leads to the following problems in most remote monitoring systems of tower crane.The performance of remote monitoring system is uneven.In addition,the data transmission has poor timeliness,low efficiency,unstable transmission,and even cannot guarantee data integrity.The quality level of dynamic monitoring performed by the remote monitoring center depends on the performance of the data transmission system of tower crane.In the paper,the tower crane data transmission system was designed and developed in order to improve the monitoring and management level of the whole monitoring system.By analyzing the current situation of tower crane monitoring system and according to the actual needs of the project,the overall structure of tower crane monitoring system based on data transmission was analyzed,and the overall architecture of tower crane monitoring system was proposed.In order to realize the scalability of the system,the overall architecture was composed of three layers:tower crane monitoring terminal,cloud and remote tower crane integrated management system.In terms of software structure,the system adopts the MVC architecture pattern in order to improve the reliability of the system in engineering practice.In addition,a decoupling method was proposed to solve the couple of monitoring data and picture data.According to the requirements of the monitoring system,the requirements of the data transmission system were analyzed,and the functions of the data transmission system were designed.Based on the determined functions,the class diagram and data transmission model of the data transmission system,the coordinated working mode of each functional module,as well as the flow of data in the functional modules were designed.According to the national standard Safety Monitoring System and Data Transmission of Tower Crane and the actual requirement of the project,the protocol structure of data transmission was expanded and formulated.According to the designed class diagram and data transmission protocol,the data transmission system was developed with the TCP connection protocol of streaming socket.The developed data transmission system was test for functions.The data were transmitted from the tower crane monitoring terminal to the remote monitoring and management system with 5G wireless network,and the integrity,real-time and reliability of the data were verified.Finally,the data transmission system was integrated into the actual engineering application system for testing and engineering application.The remote real-time monitoring of the tower crane was realized,so as to the remote dynamic monitoring.
