Research On Optimization Of Quality Management Of OT Company’s New Product Development Projects Based On DFSS

With the rapid development of elevator market,China has become a leading country in three fields which is new marketing,maintenance and retrofit marketing.However,the current situation of elevator’s frequent accidents and product quality issues seriously affect our society.OT company is also accelerating the integration and development of new product to adapt himself to the market trends.This company implements Stage-Gate process management in R&D project to realize the checkpoint audit and delivery audit.Without suitable quality methods in design process,OT company is facing risk of long-time period,frequent design changes and design quality issues in R&D project at present.Hence,OT company urgently needs improving quality management to solve these problems.To solve these,this thesis presents design for six sigma method which is applied to elevator company’s Stage-Gate process to optimize R&D projects’ quality management.Based on the Project quality management theory and DFSS theory,the project quality management of elevator’s auxiliary brake design is put into practice.Firstly,this thesis analyzes the current situation and problems of OT company’s R&D project quality management by cases.Then it is concluded where and why these issues occur by using brainstorming and expert scoring analysis.Secondly,this thesis proposes to integrate the Identify,Define,Design,Optimize and Verify process of DFSS into the current Stage-Gate management to improve the design quality.Finally,the thesis verifies the proposed method.This thesis optimizes the design quality management by combining with DFSS and Stage-Gate process,Which help OT company to improve the design efficiency and realize six sigma level at design stage.The results of this study also provide a reference of R&D project management for other companies.
