| On March 11th 2021,the fourth session of the 13th National People’s Congress voted to adopt the 14th Five-Year Plan and the outline of the 2035 Vision,which means that China has entered a new stage of socio-economic development.Due to its long industrial chain,wide coverage,and multi-industry involved,the automobile industry plays an important role in the national economy.After 20 years of development,X has become the second largest power battery supplier in China.With the continuous changes in the market,X’s supplier management problems have become particularly prominent and has turned into a resistance on its way to gaining competitive advantage and sustainable development.This paper is based on the current situation of supplier management in Company X,then find the problems of inefficient supplier management,uneven supplier standards,and poor supplier adhesion are summarized through questionnaires and managers’interview.By analyzing the causes of the problems,we optimize the strategies,processes,indicators of supplier management and supplier relationship management by applying the Kraljic matrix,theories related to supplier management,hierarchical analysis,information sharing,and incentive mechanisms.Finally,it proposes a series of guarantee measures for the smooth implementation of the program.This paper intends to optimize the supplier management of company X by exploring the main problems in the process of supplier management,to enhance the competitive advantage of the company.It also hopes to bring some inspiration to similar enterprises. |
