| Container shipping industry is closely connected with social economic development,local policies and ecological environment.With the continuous development of port container enterprises and the expansion of their assets and business scale in recent years,the interaction between operation and stakeholders such as ships,freight vehicles,upstream and downstream enterprises,city residents and sociey has increased.The A company is the largest container terminal company in Tianjin Port at present.In the process of operation,A company pays more and more attention to society,safety,environmental protection and future development.However,its performance evaluate system only concentrates on economic performance through financial indicators,which is inconsistent with the strategic goal of sustainable development.Moreover,it cannot evaluate all aspects of the company such as environment,society and future development.Therefore,the company needs to improve the performance evaluation system,to examine problems which influence the company’s future development from a dversified dimension among comprehensive economic,production efficiency,core competitiveness,social and environment etc,which helps the company to change or improve operation policy,production process.It will be a great significance to the company as well as the rights and interests of stakeholders.This thesis is mainly based on the perspective of sustainable development.Firstly,we use PEST,SWOT method to analyze the internal and external environment and influencing factors of A company to clarify the business strategy,and testify its rationality by comparing to A company’s strategic mission.Secondly,we research and examine the current situation of company’s operation level,performance evaluation and works related to sustainable development to propose the existing problems of current performance evaluation system.Thirdly,referring to the four dimensions of finance,customers,internal process,learning and growth from the balanced scorecard theory,we decompose the strategic mission of A company step by step to draw a strategic map.Then,we optimize the current indicator system by transforming the strategic objectives into performance evaluation indicators according to the existing problems of the current performance system,the strategic map and stakeholder,triple bottom line theory.After that,Delphi method and AHP method were used to determine the weight of the indicators,and then we use the fuzzy comprehensive appraisal method to score the comprehensive performance of A company.Finally,we analyze the evaluation results,find the problems,and propose targeted suggestions from the perspective of improving A company’s business operation level.This thesis has significance in both theory and practical.By optimizing the performance evaluation system,it can help A company to examine its issues that affect the sustainable development of the company,and make measures to improve operation level,which is beneficial to both company itself and stakeholders such as society and the environment.At the same time,it also provides a reference of the comprehensive performance evaluation for other domestic port container terminal enterprises. |
