Research On The Development Strategy Of Longkou Port Container Transport

Large container ship development trend has brought great challenges and opportunities to the development of the port, along with the global economy gradually recovering, the international and domestic industrial transfer becomes more obvious. In this context, the development of port economy leap of promotes the rapid rise of container logistics industry, container throughput in China has maintained a rapid growth rate. As the port container career developed in recent years and the extend to the supply of goods and overlapping hinterland, competition among ports is more and more intense, the number of the berths hinterland cargos directly restricts the growth in container throughput.Taking Longkou Port container hinterland sourcing characteristics, and the actual situation of berth as the research object, we use SWOT analysis to analyze the Longkou Port container transport development systematically combined with the characteristics of route layout. Then, we forecast the port throughput from2014to2018of Longkou Port with Grey Model. At last, we put forward the feasible suggestions on the development of Longkou port.
