In recent years,with the rapid development and rapid progress of science and technology,the level of productivity has been constantly improving,while also changing people’s lifestyles and consumption concepts.Consumers have become more and more proactive in the consumption process.In the automotive industry,consumers have continuously put forward higher requirements for diversification and personalization,as well as the quality,price,intelligence,experience,and functionality of product services,This undoubtedly poses another round of new challenges for automotive companies.How to create maximum profits while meeting consumers’ personalized and high requirements,and gain competitive advantage is a challenge that new energy vehicle companies must solve in the new consumption era.Therefore,how to enhance the competitiveness of new energy vehicles has become a core issue of concern for automotive operators.In order to enhance competitiveness,automotive companies not only need to summarize experiences and lessons based on their own development situation,leverage their strengths and improve their shortcomings,but also need to learn from the operational models of other enterprises and complement their weaknesses.This study explores the existing research results on the competitiveness evaluation of new energy vehicle enterprises,proposes the use of factor analysis method,DEA analysis method as the competitiveness evaluation model of new energy vehicle enterprises,analyzes the applicability and limitations of factor analysis method,fully utilizes the advantages of factor analysis method to extract main factors,and strives to leverage the efficiency advantages of DEA analysis method evaluation;And based on the operational situation of A-share new energy vehicle vehicle enterprises,evaluate their competitiveness,providing reference for optimizing resource allocation,improving competitiveness,and enhancing competitive efficiency for automotive enterprises.The specific evaluation work includes: firstly,after extensive literature review on the competitiveness evaluation of new energy vehicle enterprises,this study proposes to use factor analysis and DEA methods as the evaluation model for the competitiveness of new energy vehicle vehicle enterprises.Analyzed the applicability and limitations of factor analysis and DEA analysis methods,and proposed the feasibility of complementing the two methods to address these limitations.Secondly,establish a competitiveness evaluation index system for new energy cycling vehicle enterprises,select 20 new energy vehicle enterprises listed on the A-share market in China in 2022 as the evaluation objects,use factor analysis method to extract factors from the initial evaluation indicators of new energy vehicle enterprises,and determine the factor competitiveness ranking based on the factor score;Next,the input and output indicator data obtained by factor analysis method will be standardized and used as the input and output indicators for DEA analysis method evaluation.The DEA model will be used to comprehensively evaluate the competitiveness efficiency of new energy vehicle enterprises and obtain a comprehensive ranking.The comprehensive factor analysis method and DEA analysis method evaluate the problems of B Company’s competitiveness improvement,such as weak profitability,insufficient debt paying ability,weak operational ability,low R&D ratio,and growth ability that need to be improved.Corresponding measures are proposed to strengthen cost control,improve profitability,optimize capital structure,formulate reasonable debt repayment plans,improve operational capacity,increase freight turnover capacity,and enhance technological innovation,Improve the level of vehicle manufacturing,attach importance to market development,and implement strategies to enhance independent brands,as well as propose guarantee measures in terms of organization,talent,finance,brand,and other aspects.
