Power and economy are important indicators for diesel engine applications.This paper takes a certain type of diesel engine as the research object,uses GT-POWER software for modeling and simulation,and studies the influence of the structural parameters and operating parameters of the intake system and exhaust system of the diesel engine on its power and economy.The original factory data of the diesel engine is: 293.59 k W,torque 1941.48 N ?m,fuel consumption rate 191.23g/k W·h,volumetric efficiency 3.453.Specific steps are as follows:First,the control variable method is used to target parameters such as intake advance angle,exhaust advance angle,intake valve lift ratio,exhaust valve lift ratio,intake manifold diameter and length,and exhaust manifold diameter and length of the diesel engine.Five sets of parameter combinations were taken to analyze their influence on the power and economy of the diesel engine,and the variation rules and ranges of diesel engine power,torque,fuel consumption rate and air intake effect were studied.And the optimal value of each item is determined respectively,that is,the intake advance angle is 470°CA,the exhaust advance angle(247°CA),the intake valve lift ratio(1.1),the exhaust valve lift ratio(1.2),intake manifold diameter(52mm)and length(500mm),exhaust manifold diameter(35mm)and length(50mm).Then,according to the theory of orthogonal experiment,the air intake system and the exhaust system are studied separately by using the visual analysis method,and the power,torque,fuel consumption rate and volumetric efficiency of the diesel engine are taken as the main inspection indicators.The intake system selects L9(34)with 4 factors and 3 levels for orthogonal analysis: the intake advance angle is set to 450°CA,460°CA,and 470°CA,and the intake valve lift ratio is considered to be 0.9,1.0,1.1 In the three cases,the diameter of the intake manifold is 42 mm,47mm and 52 mm respectively,and the length of the intake manifold is 500 mm,550mm and 600 mm respectively.Exhaust system is the same: exhaust advance angle(247°CA,252°CA,257°CA),exhaust valve lift ratio(0.9,1.0,1.1),exhaust manifold diameter(40mm,45 mm,50mm)and length(55mm,60 mm,65mm).Then,based on the orthogonal test method,the best combination of various parameters is obtained,and the conclusions are as follows:When the diesel engine takes power as the primary parameter,the optimal combination of intake and exhaust systems are: intake advance angle 457°CA,intake valve lift ratio 1.1,intake manifold diameter 52 mm,intake manifold length 500mm;The gas advance angle is249°CA,the exhaust valve lift ratio is 1.1,the exhaust manifold diameter is 50 mm,and the exhaust manifold length is 65 mm.When the diesel engine takes torque as the primary parameter,the optimal combination of the intake and exhaust system is: intake advance angle 460°CA,intake valve lift ratio 1,intake manifold diameter 52 mm,intake manifold length 500mm;The gas advance angle is252°CA,the exhaust valve lift ratio is 1.1,the exhaust manifold diameter is 40 mm,and the exhaust manifold length is 60 mm.If the diesel engine takes economy as the primary consideration parameter,the optimal combination of intake and exhaust systems are: intake advance angle 460°CA,intake valve lift ratio 1,intake manifold diameter 52 mm,intake manifold length 500mm;Exhaust advance angle 252°CA,exhaust valve lift ratio 1.1,exhaust manifold diameter 40 mm,exhaust manifold length 60 mm.If the diesel engine takes the intake effect as the primary consideration parameter,the optimal combination of the intake and exhaust system is: intake advance angle 457°CA,intake valve lift ratio 0.9,intake manifold diameter 42 mm,intake manifold length 500mm;exhaust advance angle 255°CA,exhaust valve lift ratio 1.1,exhaust manifold diameter 45 mm,exhaust manifold length 55 mm.During the research process,it was found that there should be the best intake advance angle and exhaust advance angle for the diesel engine.When the intake advance angle is463°CA and the intake valve lift increases by 10%,the power of the diesel engine increases by 0.4%,the torque increases by 0.1%,and the fuel consumption rate decreases by 0.1%;when the exhaust advance angle is 249°CA,the exhaust The door lift increased by 10%,the power and torque of the diesel engine increased by 1.1% and 0.4% respectively,and the fuel consumption rate decreased by 0.4%,providing an important reference for actual production.
