Driven by the concepts of rural revitalization, consumerism, and post-productionism,the "production-use" of tourism-oriented rural spaces has become more and more diversified. The government, enterprises, collectives, villagers and tourists and other diversified entities present complex interactive relationships such as competition, alliance and game in all aspects of investment, construction, operation and use of rural space, which promotes the transformation of tourism-oriented villages to increasingly show obvious and extensive functions and spatial structures.Rural public space is an important field of multi-subject game, with rich functional attributes and social attributes, and is an effective entry point for studying the transformation of rural space. This paper takes the tourism-type rural public space as the research object, draws on the research perspective of "conceived space" and "living space" of Lefebvre to construct the research perspective of "production behavior" and "use behavior" of space, combines the three tourist-oriented villages such as Xujiayuan,Qianshitang and Langshang Village for empirical analysis, analyzes the relationship between spatial behavior and the transformation of rural public space, and provides suggestions for promoting the matching of the production and use process of rural public space, and seeking the balance between "conceived space" and "living space".The analysis of production behavior from the perspective of rural public space is carried out from three aspects: the historical evolution of rural public space, the production subject and its dynamic mechanism, and the characteristics of spatial transformation. The study found that the endogenous force of the village is the fundamental force that maintains the vitality of public space, the government force is the leading force to promote the transformation of rural public space, and in areas with high economic level, market forces have gradually become an important force in reshaping public space.Rural public space shows the transformation characteristics of homogenization, urbanization, flatness and dislocation driven by administrative force, commercialization, symbolization, heterogeneity and exclusivity driven by market force, and the multi-functional transformation of private space to semipublic space driven by endogenous force.Using the behavioral perspective, the analysis starts from the interaction attributes of rural public space, and conducts empirical analysis on the three aspects of the constituent elements of public space, use evaluation and cognitive characteristics. The study found that the new public space and communication activities are not friendly to the indigenous people, but outsiders are more likely to take the initiative to enter the traditional public space and integrate into the local traditional living exchange activities, the penetration of economic space has accelerated the demise and transformation of the living space, and the separation of the core of villagers’ life and the emotional core is the common point of the transformation of tourism-type rural public space. From the perspective of "production-use" behavior, the transformation of rural public space faces four dilemmas, such as the vacancy of villagers, the disorder of spatial governance, the imbalance of spatial structure and the demise of regional culture, and the paper proposes governance optimization suggestions and planning and design strategies such as the reduction of villagers’ main body, autonomous spatial governance, functional structure optimization, and rural characteristic reconstruction.
