The ever-growing global competition has given enterprises a comprehensive competitive edge: the capacity to swiftly satisfy the varied and individualized requirements of customers at a competitive cost.As the production and fabrication of businesses become more demanding,there are both chances and difficulties for them to utilize lean production to modify the original production approach.in combination with their own conditions to adapt to the rapidly changing market.The competition between enterprises is intensifying as the market demand is gradually transforming due to the growth of the economy,science,and technology.The Borg(Yantai)diesel pump production line,a classic manufacturing enterprise,has been hard to adjust to the objectives of enterprises in the modern era.The main concern of enterprises now is how to construct a production and operation management system that is both high quality,efficient and cost-effective.For over a decade,Borg(Yantai)has seen remarkable growth in China.The industry,with its many companies of the same type,was not particularly competitive initially,thus allowing the company to thrive.However,as more and more businesses have joined,the rivalry has grown increasingly intense.Existing customers have higher and higher requirements for product quality,and the purchase price has been compressed lower and lower,resulting in a significant reduction in the profit margin of products in the industry,thus making the company’s future development path full of challenges.Consequently,the firm requires a means to gradually realize its ambition of conforming to the market and satisfying customers’ lofty expectations,thus augmenting the enterprise’s comprehensive competitiveness.This paper will exhaustively utilize the applicable technologies of lean production and industrial engineering,taking into account the current state and existing issues of manufacturing management,based on the pertinent theories of lean production.multi-batch and small-batch production in Borg(Yantai)diesel pump production line,and combining with the idea of lean production,put forward the improvement strategy of lean production in line with the actual situation of Borg(Yantai)diesel pump production line,and will conduct in-depth research on the on-site improvement process of implementation of lean production in Borg(Yantai)diesel pump production line,It aims to improve the production efficiency on site and This paper will explore the adaptation to multi-variety and small-batch production mode,as well as the continuous.improvement activities implemented by the company on the production workshop,which will improve the production efficiency and flexibility of products through the improvement of product process integration,product common raw material integration,production line balance,etc.Under the context of multi-variety and small-batch production,the lead time of a lean production system can be significantly improved.This would involve the elimination of a great deal of waste and non-value-added operations in the manufacturing process,thereby shortening the manufacturing cycle,enhancing production efficiency,drastically cutting production costs,and ultimately increasing the competitiveness of businesses.Introduce lean production mode according to the actual situation of Borg(Yantai)diesel pump production line.It mainly includes: changing the management ideas and concepts,and shortening the procurement customization time by unifying raw materials;Optimize the layout and rectification of process equipment to reduce the non-value-added logistics distance;Job scheduling based on minimizing production lead time;The balanced distribution of production load mainly includes the balanced distribution of production load in time distribution and the balanced distribution of production load in space distribution;Promote synchronized production,and promote Kan Ban production in line with the enterprise’s own conditions;Through the above improvement,finally evaluate the improvement effect.
