"Eight Scenes Of Luo Yang" Series Illustration And Cultural Design

At present,the rapid development of global modernization leads to increasingly fierce competition among cities.People’s requirements for urban construction are no longer limited to the functional needs and material satisfaction,but also begin to pursue cultural and spiritual enjoyment.Under the current social and economic environment,the shaping and publicity of city image has become an important topic in the city development.Illustration,as a flexible and free visual expression technique,can be widely used in rich forms of visual art.Especially today,with the rapid growth of Internet users,tourism illustration,as a form of artistic expression,has attracted much attention because of its communication mode that is highly compatible with emerging media.Luoyang has a long history,splendid cultural resources and rich cultural landscape.In this paper,based on the requirements of urban image development in the new era,the visual image theory is applied to guide the design practice by combining the related theories of visual image and regional culture of tourist cities.Regional culture is expressed through illustration to create aesthetic works and combine them with functional products to form cultural and creative products with local characteristics.Combined with domestic and foreign design cases,from the composition method,color collocation,character image shaping and regional cultural elements selection and other aspects of the analysis and application in the series of illustration creation form.The author to luoyang "eight sights" as the theme,in combination with the summary of the design strategy and provide design illustration creative practice,practice and application practice in order to impel the cultural propaganda and tourism development of luoyang,vision for the city tourism image construction and explore an effective path to promote practice,for the design of tourist theme illustrations and express to provide theory and method for reference,The feasibility and applicability of this research are further demonstrated.
