The red historical villages in Northeast China have rich red historical resources, witnessing the revolutionary history of the Chinese Anti Japanese Allied Army, and are an important component of China’s anti Japanese history. In recent years, with the promotion of socialist new rural construction by the country, the number of red rural tourism construction projects has increased. However, the backwardness of the economic level in Northeast rural areas has led to a particular lack of landscape development, and the existing red historical village landscapes in Northeast China have not been properly protected and developed. This paper aims to analyze the red historical villages in Northeast China, propose corresponding interactive landscape design strategies, and implement them in the design practice of Naitou Village in Changbai Mountain, providing reference theory and practical basis for the landscape design of the red historical villages in Northeast China. This paper comprehensively uses the literature research method, case analysis method, and field research method.First,it describes the research background, discusses its practical and theoretical significance, and summarizes the research status of Chinese red historical villages and interactive landscapes at home and abroad.Based on the above situation, five historical red villages in Northeast China were selected for research and analysis, and four main problems were summarized: shallow utilization of red cultural sites in villages, homogenization after village repair, separation between rural and urban areas, and obstacles to the development of red villages caused by cold climate.Subsequently, practical cases related to interactive landscapes were sorted and summarized, and design strategies corresponding to three categories and three levels were condensed. The feasibility of the strategies was verified through the practice of organizing the use of interactive landscapes in the landscape design of Naitou Village in Changbai Mountain. The research conclusion is that through the bidirectional application of interactive landscape in the landscape design of red historical villages in Northeast China, the landscape has flexible participation and sustainable development.Through the multi-dimensional interaction between red local landscapes and surrounding areas, rural and urban areas are no longer separated and form a whole system. At the same time,in the face of the rapid iteration of the times, attention should be paid to creating a connection between the landscape and public emotions,Make landscape design have the anticipation and reflection of emotional interaction. This paper aims to achieve the design goals of inheriting red culture, continuing local regional characteristics, and developing red historical villages in Northeast China from the perspective of interactive landscapes, providing theoretical and practical references for the construction of red historical villages in Northeast China and related fields.
