| Children are the country’s future hope and education key objects,its educational environment is very important,public children’s library is one of the important places for children’s growth and education,with the rapid development of China’s public cultural services,China’s cultural undertakings have also taken greater strides,children and parents for the library demand has gradually become professional,systematic development.The demand for children’s libraries in China is increasing,and in economically developed areas,children’s public cultural services are well built,with sufficient resources,in line with policy orientation and meet children’s educational and learning needs.However,in some areas,there is still a lack of relevant grassroots construction,and the existing old libraries still have many problems in the design due to the reasons of the times,lack the affinity and sense of security required by children,do not reflect the humanized design friendly to children,and children cannot enjoy the rights and interests of perfect public cultural services.Guided by the policy background of the development of public cultural services,this paper conducts research on the space design of children’s libraries,pays attention to the needs,physiological characteristics and space needs of children of different ages,takes children’s perspective as the design center,and forms a diversified learning space with children’s reading ability as the core.This research and design will make the interior space design of the children’s library more rational,create a good learning atmosphere in the space,give children the pleasure of reading indoors,stimulate children’s cultural interest,and cultivate scientific learning habits.Through the construction of the Jingzhou District Children’s Library,we can better develop public cultural services from the grassroots level,meet children’s reading needs,implement public cultural service development policies,and promote urban cultural development. |
