| With the rapid development of national economic construction,the single installed capacity of China’s power grid is also increasing rapidly,but at the present stage of the main generator set existing in the power system,600 MW coal-fired generator set is still dominant.Relay protection is an important part of the operation of the entire power system,when the operation of the power system occurs in the process of failure or abnormal circumstances,relay protection plays an important role,so that the event control in the initial stage and avoid its continued expansion,to ensure the safety of electrical primary equipment.Generator as the key part of power system,main equipment,its structure is complex and expensive,and relevant protection of generator is more complex,the technology of scientific and reasonable system of relay protection setting calculation and the guarantee system can improve the safety level of generator,and the economic losses are minimized when an accident.In this paper,two 600 MW coal-fired thermal power generating units in operation as the research object,through the power system parameters and equipment configuration,discusses the relaying protection setting related content.Firstly,based on the current situation of relay protection used in thermal generators,the basic characteristics of relay protection technology used in thermal power plants and the common configuration characteristics of relay protection in generator sets and power plant systems are summarized.Secondly,according to the technical characteristics of relay protection system,this paper discusses the relay protection constant value setting of coal-fired thermal power plant and generator transformer,and finds some problems in the calculation of relay protection setting in power plants.Finally,some reasonable suggestions are given for some problems in the practice of power plant. |
