| In the process of continuous urbanization, unpredictable multiple disturbances pose a serious threat to the urban ecological environment. The urgent need for cities to enhance their resistance, adaptation, and recovery capabilities is a new issue in their ecological environment development. As a national ecological environment demonstration area, the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River aims to create a high-level ecological urban circle, establish a cross regional ecological environment linkage mechanism, and form an integrated green ecological space. Therefore,it is imperative to enhance the ability to cope with external interference to enhance the level of urban ecological resilience in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. This paper selects 17 indicator data from 2006 to 2020 for urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River to construct a three-dimensional indicator system of urban ecological resilience called "resistance-adaptability-recovery".The three-dimensional indicator system is weighted using entropy method, and its resilience level is obtained using linear weighting method. Then,it examines the evolution process of urban ecological resilience in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. The research findings are as follows:(1)From the overall level, the overall toughness level presents a span from low toughness to lower toughness; The nuclear density function reflects that the dynamic level gradually increases in areas with relatively low levels, elongates on the right side, and gradually increases in areas with relatively high toughness levels;(2)From the perspective of regional disparity, the overall gap in urban ecological resilience is fluctuating and declining; The gap between regions of urban ecological resilience is the greatest; From the perspective of regional disparities, the gap within Hubei is relatively large; The gap between Hubei,Hunan, and Jiangxi regions is alternately leading, and the gap between Hubei and Hunan gradually widened in the later period of the investigation;(3)From the perspective of center of gravity migration, the migration trajectory of urban ecological resilience shows that the optimal horizontal distance from urban ecological resilience gradually lengthens, and presents a trend of moving from west to east and continuing to north, with the overall urban ecological resilience tilting towards Hubei Province;(4)From the perspective of coordinated development, the ecological resilience factors in this region have not reached a coordinated state as a whole, and have been in the stage of antagonism and running-in.Further exploring the internal influencing factors of the indicator system during the spatiotemporal evolution process,it was found that:(1)Through the barrier degree model,it can be seen that the per capita green utility patents, the annual PM2.5 average value, and residents’ attention to the ecological environment are the top three barrier factors; At the factor level, the resilience and adaptability of urban ecological resilience are the main obstacle subsystems;(2)Using geographic detector models to explore the intensity of their differentiation and interaction factors, the interaction between per capita green utility patents, per capita GDP,and residents’ ecological concerns has a significant impact on space-time status, and the interaction mode is collaborative.By analyzing the impact of barriers, dominant and interactive factors on urban ecological resilience in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, relevant countermeasures are proposed. |
