| As one of the emerging strategic industries in China, the general aviation industry is an important part of the construction of a strong manufacturing country and a strong transportation country, which can drive the change of the manufacturing industry and strengthen the foundation of the real economy, and its development potential is becoming more and more prominent, and gradually becoming an economic growth point with great potential in China’s modern industrial system. The overall development of China’s general aviation industry started late and is still at the early stage of development. There are problems such as low external competitiveness and uneven internal development in various regions, and there are obvious differences compared with the developed public transportation in China. The industrial competitiveness can measure the development potential of the industry, and the evaluation of China’s general aviation industry competitiveness can reflect the actual development status of the industry.Based on the evaluation results, targeted suggestions can be made for the development of China’s general aviation industry, which can help China’s general aviation industry achieve the leap from the early stage of development to industrial upgrading. This paper aims to improve the competitiveness of China’s general aviation industry. After sorting through the relevant domestic and foreign literature,it provides a systematic description of the relevant concepts and theoretical foundations, and describes China’s general aviation industry in terms of development history, recent development and industrial structure. On this basis, based on theories such as industrial competitiveness and development imbalance theory, this paper constructs an evaluation index system of China’s general aviation industry competitiveness from four dimensions: production and manufacturing guarantee level, infrastructure construction level, operation service capability level and talent training support level, and selects the 2020 data of seven regions under the jurisdiction of China’s seven civil aviation bureaus: North China,East China,Northeast China,South Central China,Northwest China,Southwest China,Xinjiang.data as the research samples.First, the weights of the indicators were calculated, and then the entropy weight TOPSIS method was applied to calculate the relative posting progress to systematically evaluate the whole indicators of China’s general aviation industry competitiveness;then, the multi-indicator comprehensive evaluation method was applied to calculate the comprehensive scores of the four system-level indicators respectively, and the production and manufacturing guarantee level, infrastructure construction level, operation service capability level, and talent training support level of each region were Classification evaluation. The evidence shows that:(1)the development potential of China’s general aviation industry competitiveness is large;(2)the difference between regions in China’s general aviation industry competitiveness is obvious;(3)the development of each region in China’s general aviation industry competitiveness is unbalanced. Finally, based on the findings, this paper analyzes countermeasures from a macroscopic perspective for the whole country and makes suggestions:(1)increase policy support to promote industrial development;(2)narrow the inter-regional imbalance and achieve synergistic development;(3)improve the intra-regional industrial chain and fill the industrial gap.Countermeasure analysis for each region from a regional perspective and suggestions:(1)South Central region: expand manpower advantages and attach importance to manufacturing;(2)North China region: obtain policy trends and develop a brand new track;(3)East China region: give play to capital advantages and increase investment;(4)Northeast China region: combine advantageous industries and explore development potential;(5)Southwest China region: use tourism resources and build Low-altitude economy;(6)Northwest region: raise the importance and promote exchange and collaboration;(7)Xinjiang region: take advantage of airspace and introduce R&D enterprises. |
