Research On The Design Application Of Interactive Installation Art In Historical Districts

Advancements in technology and modernist trends have propelled the innovation and development of installation art,drawing attention to its unique artistic expressions.Concurrently,the acceleration of urbanization has intensified the demand for the revitalization of historic districts.subtly elevating the artistic taste of the general public.Historic districts carry the memories of older residents while serving as venues for new residents to learn about history and enjoy leisure activities.The integration of interactive installation art aligns with the development trends of historic districts and plays a significant role in shaping and revitalizing their environments.This paper,set against the backdrop of historic districts and focusing on interactive installation art,investigates the design principles for its application in revitalizing these areas.By analyzing the implementation of interactive installation art in historic districts,this study explores its development prospects and potential challenges,proposes application principles and methods,and presents a design practice proposal using the example of the Nanjing Diaoyutai Historic District.The author hopes that this paper can provide insights for the design of interactive installation art in various types of historic districts.
