| As the main node for residents’ daily commute,residential subway stations are common types of rail transit stations.The development of residential subway stations affects the efficiency of urban space utilization and is of great significance to the sustainable development of the city,and also plays an important role in improving the quality of residents’ living environment and quality of life,which profoundly affects their daily life and travel.Based on the "node-place-linkage" model,this study establishes a TOD effectiveness evaluation system for residential subway stations,analyzes the current problems of residential subway station construction with Hangzhou as a case study,and provides optimization strategies for the construction of residential subway stations in Hangzhou.The study shows that the TOD effectiveness of residential subway stations in Hangzhou city has been evaluated.Based on the "node-place-linkage" model,the evaluation system is established from the level of traffic service of the station reflecting the value of "node",the level of development of the station area reflecting the value of "place",and the level of connection between the station and the station area reflecting the value of "linkage".The evaluation system of TOD effectiveness of residential subway stations is established based on the level of station traffic service reflecting the value of "node",the level of station development reflecting the value of "place",and the level of connection between station and station reflecting the value of "linkage",in order to measure and quantify the effectiveness of TOD of residential subway stations.The study shows that the TOD effectiveness values of residential metro stations in Hangzhou are close to each other and low,and need to be strengthened for construction and development.Spatially,there is a tendency of centrality in residential metro stations,and the TOD effectiveness gradually decreases from the city center to the periphery,resulting in insufficient TOD construction at the edge of the city or at the end of the line.The traffic service level(T)of primary index stations shows a trend of decreasing from the center to the edge of the rail network,with serious polarization;its secondary indexes of passenger intensity and connectivity have a certain consistency,but a few stations have high passenger intensity but low connectivity.In the first-level index of station area development level(D),residential metro stations in general urban centers or administrative sub-centers have higher scores,while stations at the end of metro lines have lower scores;the second-level index of land use,population and facilities have unbalanced phenomena and mismatch between land use and passenger intensity,which need to be improved and targeted according to each station’s own situation.The first-level index of station and station area linkage level(O)has higher scores in the central area of the city and the western part of the city,and its second-level index of station area accessibility,facility walkability and slow traffic friendliness is more balanced.At the same time,there is a strong positive correlation between the level of station development and the level of linkage between station and station area,which can drive the development of the linkage between station and station area by improving the level of station development,and vice versa.According to the evaluation results of TOD effectiveness of residential metro stations and the "node-place-linkage" model,residential metro stations are classified into balanced,imbalanced and to-be-developed types,among which,imbalanced type is divided into station imbalance type and station imbalance type.For different types of residential metro stations,site-specific case studies are conducted and compared with the TOD effectiveness evaluation results to clarify the problems and characteristics of different types of stations and provide support for the proposed optimization strategies.The residential subway stations need to be planned and laid out rationally,balancing the relationship between the station,station area,and the connection between the station and the station area,making full use of the existing advantages of the station to form a higher quality and higher level residential subway station,and developing into an important urban node.Balanced stations need to pay attention to the station area space quality and station area utilization efficiency improvement,although the station development is more balanced,but the space quality is not high,still need to build optimization.The station area development lagging station needs to take full advantage of the station traffic service level to promote the construction and development of the station area,and promote the link between the station and the station area.Station development lagging site station domain development level is high,but the station traffic service level is low,need to enhance the station domain residents’ sense of well-being as the guide,improve the quality of station domain construction,reverse drive the station passenger flow to improve.The level of each site to be developed is low,there are more unconstructed or under construction land,the station area development lags behind,pending construction and development,need to carry out reasonable planning and guidance,in order to promote the site TOD construction to improve. |
