Investigation And Research On Chinese Language Teaching At The Confucius Institute Of Suez Canal University In Egypt

Since the new era,China and Egypt have strengthened and deepened comprehensive cooperation,and Egypt’s demand for Chinese language talents has increased significantly in recent years.As a foreign student from Egypt who came to China to study Chinese as a foreign language and once studied Chinese at the Confucius Institute of Suez Canal University,the author has studied Chinese in Confucius Institute of Suez Canal University and has been paying attention to the development of the teaching Chinese language,The Confucius Institute of Suez Canal University has a great contribution in enhancing the deep cooperation between China and Egypt,has undertaken the important task of growing up Chinese talents in Egypt,and has achieved good results in practicing Chinese teaching.But there are also some problems that we cant avoid.From the perspective of research interest,the author has carried out a comprehensive investigation and research on the Chinese language teaching in the Confucius Institute of Suez Canal University in Egypt.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is an introduction,which mainly introduces the reason for choosing the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the research methods,and sum up the relevant documents.The second chapter introduces the basic situation of the Confucius Institute.From the author’s learning experience and communication with teachers and students of Confucius Institute,I learned the basic situation of the Confucius Institute’s Chinese language teaching,Chinese cultural activities,HSK examinations and scholarships.From the perspective of the survey,the third chapter conducted a survey on Chinese teachers and students in the form of questionnaires,and conducted a further survey on Chinese teachers in the form of interviews,comprehensively revealing the current situation of Chinese language teaching in Confucius Institute.The fourth chapter,based on the previous investigation and analysis,finds out the advantages and problems of Chinese language teaching in Confucius Institute,and provides some new development of Chinese teaching methods in Suez Canal University Confucius Institute.At the same time,It is hoped that this study can provide some new ideas for the development of Chinese language teaching in Confucius Institute of Suez Canal University and provide some reference for the international promotion of Chinese language in other countries in Africa.
