Research On The Creation Of Zhao Mingcheng’s Jinshi Lu

Jinshi Lu is a catalogue and research book of Jinshi created by Zhao Mingcheng,a famous epigrapher and collector in the Northern Song Dynasty.It consists of 30 volumes,with the first 10 volumes as the catalogue and the last 20 volumes as the postscript.In order of times,it describes in detail the inscriptions on Yi Ding,stone inscriptions,scriptures,poems,calligraphy and paintings from the three ancient dynasties to the Sui,Tang and Five Dynasties,It preserved a large number of gold and stone materials,which played an important role in the development of Song Dynasty’s epigraphy.The preface to Jinshi Lu is an autobiographical recollection prose written by Li Qingzhao,a famous poetess in Song Dynasty.The couple share similar interests and devote themselves to the collection and research of Jinshi literature,enjoying themselves and being unable to extricate themselves.The preface is a record of their34-year marriage life.This paper mainly introduces the daily life of the couple’s collection of Jinshi documents and the process of the completion of Jinshi Lu,which is an indispensable and important part of studying the process of the completion of Jinshi Lu.Through textual research,this paper summarizes the related contents of Jinshi Lu,discusses the background,process and value of Jinshi Lu,and analyzes the preface of Jinshi Lu,in order to provide detailed support and historical data supplement for the study of Jinshi Lu.By comparing the studies of Jinshi Records before Song Dynasty and Song Dynasty,this paper explains the background of Jinshi Lu,combs and summarizes the life and family background of Zhao Mingcheng and Li Qingzhao and the description content,compilation thought and version evolution of Jinshi Lu.It also interprets the literature value of Jinshi Lu from the perspective of historical data research and academic research.Using the research perspective of "knowing people and discussing the world",this paper analyzes Zhao Mingcheng’s attitude towards history and academic spirit.Finally,through the content records of the preface to Jinshi Lu,this paper explores the details of the couple’s life and Li Qingzhao’s unique sense of life value,provide more historical data support for the study of Li Qingzhao and her literary creation.
