Sports dance is not only a part of China’s strong display on the international competitive stage,but also a part of people’s vitality in daily life.It has positive significance in improving the physical and mental health of teenagers and expanding students’ social skills.With the development of the new era,new requirements have emerged in the development of teaching methods,and traditional teaching methods have also presented certain drawbacks and urgently need to be updated.Therefore,this article,guided by the policies of the new era and the practical needs of educational development,follows the physical and mental development characteristics of children aged 8-12,and combines the principle of "educational information technology teaching,teaching methods information technology",On the basis of its application premise,information technology and program teaching methods will be combined to improve students’ sports dance technical level,physical fitness,learning interest,problem-solving awareness,and cooperation awareness through the "fun finding" game.At the same time,experimental data will be analyzed in detail to verify the value of application program teaching method and propose optimization suggestions for program teaching under the background of educational information technology,Provide some reference and reference for the teaching practice of children’s sports dance in China.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature review,experiment,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and so on.Among them,the experimental method takes 40 students aged 8-12 years old in the elementary class of children’s sports dance in Suqian Jinbei Latin dance Training School as the experimental objects,20 in the experimental group use the program teaching method,and 20 in the control group use the traditional teaching method.Through the comparative analysis of the data before and after the 12 week test,it is found that the application of the program teaching method in sports dance teaching is effective,The research results are as follows:(1)The program teaching method has a significant difference in the development of students’ motor skills(P<0.01),with significant differences in basic posture and routine display(P<0.05),and no significant differences in music performance and dance style(P>0.05);(2)The program teaching method has a significant effect on children’s speed quality(P<0.05),but there is no significant difference in flexibility and explosive power(P>0.05);(3)The program teaching method has a significant effect on children’s learning interest(P<0.05);(4)The program teaching method has a significant effect on children’s problem-solving awareness and ability(P<0.05);(5)The program teaching method has a significant effect on children’s cooperative awareness and ability(P<0.05);The research conclusions are as follows:(1)In terms of sports dance technical level,the program teaching method can further improve the theoretical knowledge and technical mastery of sports dance for children aged 8-12,which is manifested in the display of basic postures,movement techniques,and routines;(2)In terms of physical fitness,the program teaching method can improve students’ physical fitness in children’s sports dance teaching,especially in the development of speed quality for children aged 8-12;(3)In terms of learning interest,the program teaching method has enhanced the learning interest of children aged 8-12 in the teaching of sports dance for children;(4)In terms of problem-solving awareness and ability: Compared with traditional teaching methods,procedural teaching method is more prominent in cultivating children’s problem-solving awareness;(5)In terms of cooperation awareness and ability: Compared to traditional teaching,program teaching method has better effectiveness in improving children’s cooperation awareness and ability,which is conducive to improving interpersonal cooperation ability.
