The Exploration Of The Visual Presentation Of "Light And Shadow" In The Sculpture Space

This paper takes the visual presentation of light and shadow in sculptural space as the research direction,The discussion focuses on the visual presentation in the space of figurative sculpture.From the discussion of the basic properties of light and shadow and the characteristics of art,this paper clarifies the indispensable position of light and shadow as a medium of visual perception in the sculpture space and the artistic value it is given;Based on experiments and artists’ works,it is demonstrated that at the turning point and junction of light and shadow,the physical space of sculpture is clearly presented;From the aspects of sculpture materials,lines and colors,explore the dynamic expression of light and shadow and sculptural language;By analyzing the visual presentation of typical sculptural spaces under light and shadow in the history of sculpture,it is concluded that light and shadow accompanied by space has always been one of the important topics explored by sculptors;This research is involved in the auxiliary role and artistic expression of light and shadow visual presentation in sculpture shaping and exhibition space;Finally,the application and practice of light and shadow in sculpture creation are analyzed by the principle of light and shadow of "shading into shadow and light transmission forming".
