A Study On The Reception Of Cao Zhi's Poetry In The Qing Dynast

Cao Zhi is the representative of the Jian ’an literature,his poetry has always been taken seriously by critics.As the end of Classical literature,there were a lot of poetic theories in Qing dynasty.Compared with the former generation,the poetic theories in Qing dynasty and the criticism of’ poetry are more detailed and more comprehensive.This paper mainly focuses on Qing Poetry Talks and Qing anthology of ancient poems,and try to discuss the acceptance history of Cao Zhi’s poetry in Qing dynasty,while mean,explain the reasons for the change of the historical status of Cao Zhi’s poetry in Qing dynasty.The introduction part introduces the reason of selecting this subject and the research content and methods,briefly summarizes the relevant literature review,and explains several issues related to the paper,such as the selection of Poetry Talks and Poetry anthology,the stages of Poetry criticism of the Qing Dynasty.Chapter 1: Acceptance of Cao Zhi’s poems in the Early Qing Dynasty.This chapter mainly discusses the criticism of Cao Zhi’s poems by Wang Fuzhi and Wu Qi in the early Qing Dynasty.Wang Fuzhi,as a representative of the poets who lived in the late Ming Dynasty,strongly corrects the wrong academic atmosphere in the late Ming Dynasty with Emphasizing statecraft,opposes the dispute between different schools and criticizes Cao Zhi’s poems,thinking that Cao Zhi’s works are all the same.And graceless.At the same time,Wu Qi,also from the Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty,promoted Cao Zhi as a master,which means he had a high extensive achievement.Other important critics in the early Qing Dynasty also had different views on Cao’s poetry.There had been differences about Cao’s place in history.Chapter 2: Acceptance of Cao Zhi’s poems in the middle and late Qing dynasty.This part discusses Shen Deqian’s critical theory of Cao’s poetry in middle Qing dynasty,and Pan Deyu’s critical theory of Cao’s poetry in late Qing dynasty.During the Qianlong period,the ruled of the Qing government gradually stabilized,Shen Deqian was the leader of poetry circles in Qing dynasty,he summed up the discusses about Cao Zhi in the early Qing dynasty with his poetic theory,which emphasized gentleness and sincerity,and corrected Wang Fuzhi’s prejudice.Pan Deyu was the major character in late Qing dynasty,he stood for unsophisticated pstyle,he reconized Cao’s poetry as while as reconized Cao’s personality and character.He hoped to survive the confusing,changing times.At the end of the Qing dynasty,the representative of the Tongcheng article,Zeng Guofan and Wu Rulun,Compiled anthologies of poetry and reasserted Cao’s poetry.Chapter 3: The Acceptance and Criticism of Cao Zhi’s Poems in the Qing Dynasty.With ten poetry anthologies as the research object,this part try to analysis the discusses about the gist,the style and the text structure of Cao’s poetry.The litterateur in Qing dynasty focused on the the relations between Cao Zhi and Du Fu,they summarized that Du Fu learned from Cao Zhi especially in the text structure and the unsophisticated style.
