The "postmodernity" Of Wang Xiaobo's Novel

The "postmodernity" of Wang Xiaobo’s novels has the characteristics of the coexistence of post-modern deconstruction spirit and modern construction spirit.His post-modern text is an open,world-oriented and constructive postmodern.As a strategy,"postmodernity" is a tool used by Wang Xiaobo to deconstruct the grand narrative of totalitarian ideology.With the help of postmodern anti-depth,flatization and disintegration of the stylistic characteristics of the subject,his novel is committed to pursuing the differentiated,diversified legitimacy of "small narrative" and "personal narrative",eliminates the opposite relationship between grand narrative and personal narrative in a dialectical manner,and builds a vivid history of dynamic,concrete and individual participation integrated into the individual life experience.While opposing the grand concept of modernity,Wang Xiaobo grasped the theme of enlightenment and rationality of modernity and formed the core of the spirit of post-modernism with inclusiveness and openness.Wang Xiaobo took attention to individual existence as the starting point.In his works,individual dignity has always been superior to group dignity.He presented the current situation of individual shortage in a "lightly" way,enlightened individuals to consciously reflect on real life,and deconstructed grand narrative hegemony while constructing the light of personality emancipation and critical rationality at the subject level.Through the study of wang novel "post-modernity" transcendence,this paper discusses the characteristics of "unfinished modernity" in his novels,and then observes the variation of post-modernity in Chinese literature in the 20 th century and the relationship between individuals and collectives and history,and sees the complex situation and historical changes of thoughts,spirit and literature.
