A Study On The Finance Industry Of Pseudo Manchukuo

Before The Mukden Incident,Northeast China was a semi-colonial and semifeudal society,and the imperialist financial system coexisted with the bureaucratcapitalist financial system in Northeast China.This paper mainly studies the development of Northeast financial industry in the period of Manchukuo.Due to the limited space,this paper mainly refers to three special financial institutions and three main financial policies.These special financial institutions are responsible for purchasing government bonds,providing loans to Japanese enterprises and looting the wealth of the Northeast people.This paper is divided into four chapters.First of all,the introduction introduces the research status,significance and innovation of financial industry in Manchukuo.The first chapter,the development cycle of the financial industry of the pseudo-Manzhou is analyzed in stages,revealing that Japan has laid the foundation for controlling the financial sovereignty of the pseudoManzhou.As the war expanded to meet the financing needs,monetary policy was shifted and inflation was triggered.Tightening monetary policy to turn the economy around has led to an oversupply of yen funds.Eventually,with the deterioration of the war situation,the puppet Manchu government stepped up the economic control of the puppet Manchu,the puppet Manchu financial industry gradually collapsed.In the second chapter,in June 1932,the Japanese invaders formally established the pseudoManchu Central Bank on the basis of seizing the sovereignty of the four major banks of Northeast China.The business scope of Pseudo-Manxing Industrial Bank is very wide,including industrial and commercial finance,trade finance,small and mediumsized finance,etc.In the name of specializing in agricultural finance,the agricultural exploitation of Manchukuo Xingnong Treasury increased the burden on the peasants.The third chapter,Japan through a series of financial policies,using economic means to plunder northeast resources and funds.This paper mainly introduces three kinds of financial policies,first of all,the arrangement of monetary policy,the understanding of the currency situation,the analysis of the Japanese aggressors behind the gold and silver standard.Second,the price policy analysis,restore the pseudo-Manzhou price system.Finally,through the in-depth discussion of foreign exchange policy,it proves that Japan destroyed traditional foreign exchange Licensing system by financial means in order to achieve the goal of "Japanese financial integration.The fourth chapter analyzes the characteristics of Manchukuo’s financial industry and summarizes it into three characteristics,namely colonialism,monopoly and predatory.Its behavior not only deepened the attachment of northeast financial industry to Japan,but also destroyed the national financial market to exclude national capital and turned northeast into its strategic capital supply.Finally,the conclusion is mainly a summary of the previous article.By monopolizing the financial industry of Manchuria,Japan introduced the capital chain of Manchuria into the production layout of the war against China.
