This thesis selects highly used Chinese learning textbook Developing Chinese,referring to the adverb classification from Zhang Yisheng’s Research on Modern Chinese Adverbs,comparing the modal adverbs in the textbook and Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education(hereinafter referred to as the Standard),to analyze the arrangement of modal adverbs,offer specific suggestions,make further progress on the study of modal adverbs in Chinese learning and improve Chinese teaching.This thesis is divided into six parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which demonstrates the origin of the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,briefly summarizes the range of research subject,and introduces relative study by scholars and research methods.In the second chapter,based on the research of modal adverbs in Developing Chinese and Standard,it shows that 24 of the 95 modal adverbs in Standard are not included in the textbook,including some basic vocabulary.Only 24 of the 55 modal adverbs included in the grammar grade outline of the Standard appear in the textbook,and the coincidence rate of grammatical points is low.The third chapter is the distribution of modal adverbs in Developing Chinese.It mainly inspects the distribution of modal adverbs in the textbook and make statistical analysis of the distribution of modal adverbs as a whole and in different grades.It shows that the number of modal adverbs in advanced stage is significantly reduced compared with that in intermediate stage;Higher-level words appear earlier;exercises for modal adverbs are lack in all three stages,and most modal adverbs had few questions.Furthermore,some of the marks of the part of speech and interpretations are inappropriate.The fourth chapter is the repetition of modal adverbs in Developing Chinese,and the statistical analysis of the concentration and interval repetition of modal adverbs in textbooks.It shows that 18 of the 76 modal adverbs in the textbook have not been reproduced in this lesson.In addition,the reproduction design of this set of textbooks needs to be further improved,especially the spacing arrangement of reproduction in this book is not reasonable enough.The fifth chapter,on the basis of the research of the above chapters,analyzes the shortcomings of the arrangement of modal adverbs in the textbook from the three levels of inclusion,distribution and repetition,and puts forward the corresponding arrangement suggestions.In the last part,a detailed summary of the research results of this paper is made,and a brief description of the innovation and limitations of the paper is given. |
