The topic of this article is based on exploring the embodiment of“heterogeneous space”in painting and its metaphorical expression in the screen.It introduces the concept of“heterogeneous space”into the spatial processing and emotional expression of painting,and combines personal creation to explore the embodiment of“heterogeneous space”and its metaphorical expression in the series of works of“Entering the Dream”.The text is divided into three parts:The first part mainly starts with the origin and definition of the theory of“heterogeneous space”,elaborates on the spatial theory of Henry Lefebvre and Michel Foucault,thereby leading to Edward W.Sawyer’s“third space”,that is,“heterogeneous space”theory,and combines specific screen analysis to transform the concept of“heterogeneous space”into the spatial expression form and screen connotation of painting;The second part of the study focuses on metaphoricality,with the literary concept of metaphor,the formation of metaphorical concepts in painting,and the embodiment of metaphor in the painting space as a progression.It analyzes the manifestations of metaphoricality in different “heterogeneous spaces”by combining images;The third part combines personal creative inspiration,creative process,and emotional expression to illustrate the use of“heterogeneous space”in the“Dream Song”series,as well as how to use“heterogeneous space”images to metaphorize personal emotions and life experiences. |
