The Yunjian Poetry School is one of the three major poetry schools in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties,and the Yunjian Poetry School,represented by Chen Zilong,is a new stage of realism in classical poetry of the Ming Dynasty,marking the last peak of the trend of reviving elegance and realism in the poetry of the Ming Dynasty.After entering the Qing Dynasty,with the death of Chen Zilong,Xia Wanchun,and Li Wen,the main members of the poetry school,the Yunjian poetry school declined rapidly.Even in the late period of the clouds,when the prosperity turned into decline,the aesthetic interest of the poetry of the literati in the clouds was also influenced by Chen Zilong’s "to support the public opinion and hazel,to cherish the millet",presenting a literary mentality of worrying times,realistic portraits,and simple and elegant literature.Tian Maoyu,as a poet of the late Yunjian period,is a member of several societies,and has the praise of "the victory of Qinglian and Shaoling,and the victory of Yidi and Jinan".He was born at the time of the Ming and Qing dynasties,and after entering the Qing Dynasty,he traveled from south to north to visit mountains and rivers that were different from the scenery of Jiangnan,and his personal thoughts and emotions also changed with the changes in his life and circumstances,and his aesthetic taste also quietly changed.Therefore,this paper will discuss the characteristics of Tian Maoyu’s poetry from the following aspects to supplement the research gap of the late Yunjian poets in the early Qing Dynasty.The introduction part of this paper mainly introduces the research value of the selected topics of this paper,and classifies and discusses the existing research results of Tian Maoyu.The main body of the thesis consists of four chapters: the first chapter is the life and writings of Tian Maoyu,introduces the life of Tian Maoyu,and sorts out his works,focusing on the birth and death year and place of origin of Tian Maoyu.The second chapter is Tian Maoyu’s travel examination,according to the way of classification of the regional characteristics of the literati who traveled with the poet,it will be mainly divided into Yantai literati and Yunjian literati for research,poets from the south to the north,the influence of friends from the north and south on Tian Maoyu is also different.The third chapter is Tian Maoyu’s poems,mainly "Shuixi Jinyong" and "Red Crane Xuan Poetry Grass",introducing the content and characteristics of Tian Maoyu’s poetry.Chapter 4 is the transformation of aesthetic taste,mainly discussing the change of thought,emotion and aesthetic taste brought about by Tian Mao’s encounter from the south to the north,and his poetic style has also changed its previous characteristics,from "fresh and secluded" to "majestic and desolate",this chapter mainly discusses the reasons behind this change,from the characteristics of regional customs and the influence of literati groups. |
