Research On Zhou Yuan Paper In Dunhuang Wedding Literature

“Zhou yuan Paper”in Dunhuang manuscripts are the blessing words used in weddings in Dunhuang area in Tang and Five dynasties.There are 12 copies of the “Zhou yuan Paper”in Dunhuang manuscripts today,and a total of 13 of them have been repeated.In the previous study of “Zhou yuan Paper”in Dunhuang manuscripts,it was more to discuss the content of the text in the marriage ceremony literature,and ignored the manuscript write about the correlation between the content.As a whole,the transcription content of Dunhuang scrolls is arranged according to a certain purpose.Different from the nature of desk reading materials of central plains literature,the production of Dunhuang Writing scrolls has its practical purpose and use of copying,and analyzing the situation of copying the manuscripts can clarify Dunhuang people’s understanding of this style and its application in real life.The “Zhou yuan Paper”in Dunhuang manuscripts is an important part of the whole wedding,put it in the wedding to discuss,can further understand the living environment of the mantra text,can also be a starting point to discuss Dunhuang wedding customs and its unique.And Zhou yuan paper belong to ritual literature and closely related to wedding ceremonies.On the basis of clarifying the marriage customs involved in the Zhou yuan paper,the relationship between the wedding ceremony and the Zhou yuan paper can be further understood.This paper is mainly divided into three chapters:Chapter one:taking the Zhou yuan paper as the center,on the basis of clarifying the origin and development of Dunhuang Zhou yuan paper,the text features,timeand content of the papers are discussed,and the later evolution of the Zhou yuan paper is reasoned.Chapter Two:with the manuscript as the center,the 12 manuscripts are divided according to their properties-A system mainly with practical nature and B system mainly with literary nature,and carefully narrated and interpreted,in order to clarify people’s understanding of this style and its use at that time.From the perspective of scriptural science,the creation,dissemination characteristics and living forms of Dunhuang Zhou yuan paper are explored.Chapter Three:Centered on ceremony and literature,with two kinds of wedding customs involved in Zhou yuan paper as the breakthrough point,discuss the specific ritual process of Dunhuang wedding and uniqueness of wedding customs,and discusses the relationship between Dunhuang wedding and Dunhuang Zhou yuan paper.
