Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Chengdu In Building The Eastern Suburb Memory Cultural Creative Zone

Based on a comprehensive summary of the research on industrial heritage conservation and reuse by scholars both domestically and internationally,this thesis takes the construction of the East Suburban Memory Cultural and Creative Park in Chengdu,which is built on the basis of industrial heritage within the urban area,as the research object.The main research methods include literature review,survey research,and case studies,which aim to sort out the situation of Chengdu’s government departments in creating the East Suburban Memory Cultural and Creative Park,including heritage conservation and utilization,industry cultivation,departmental establishment,and attraction policies.In order to accurately grasp the actual management status of the cultural and creative park,this thesis conducted visits to some of the enterprises and merchants within the park,and conducted interviews and investigations with the park management committee and relevant department personnel to obtain key data and information.Based on the survey results and relevant theoretical foundations,this thesis points out issues such as insufficient public,historical,and policy representation of industrial heritage,unclear characteristics of high added value and high growth potential of the cultural and creative industry,inadequate public facilities,and the need to improve park operation capabilities.According to the analysis of the causes of these issues,which mainly include insufficient awareness of industrial heritage protection and fluctuating industry positioning,this thesis draws on the experiences of Beijing,Shanghai,and Guangzhou in building 798,No.8 Bridge,and Red Flag Factory based on industrial heritage,and proposes strategies and recommendations for Chengdu’s construction of the East Suburban Memory Cultural and Creative Park,such as shaping a new industrial heritage style,strengthening guidance for cultural and creative industry cultivation,improving the supporting facilities,and enhancing the level of operation and publicity.This thesis takes public management theory as the basic framework to investigate and analyze the development status and problems of the East Suburban Memory Cultural and Creative Park,and puts forward further development strategies and suggestions,which can help guide the protection and utilization of industrial heritage in other regions and promote the organic integration of urban space and industrial development.In terms of research perspective,this thesis provides new explorations and strives to play a certain reference role in promoting the cultural and creative industry in similar regions such as western China.
