| Ancient Chinese poetry is an essential literary genre that reflects the social and cultural changes,as well as the diverse thoughts and emotions of ancient Chinese people throughout different periods.The cultural connotations embedded in ancient poetry are also an important teaching component of Teaching Chinese as A Foreign Language.Selecting the most appropriate works is crucial to realize the maximum value of teaching ancient poetry,and the appropriateness of selecting ancient poetry in cultural textbooks affects the effectiveness of learning and understanding Chinese culture for learners.Therefore,this article will analyze the selection and compilation of ancient poetry in cultural textbooks,identify the most suitable form of writing ancient poetry,improve the teaching effect of ancient poetry,and hope to be helpful for cultural teaching and dissemination.This paper conducts a study on the selection and compilation of ancient poetry in cultural textbooks for Teaching Chinese as A Foreign Language in China over the past thirty years.The study is divided into four parts.The first part is a statistical analysis of the cultural textbooks for international Chinese education in the past 30 years.It examines the specific forms of the compilation of ancient poetry in categories of“Chinese Literature”,“Chinese Culture”,and “Overview of China”,and explores the value of studying the compilation of ancient poetry in cultural textbooks.In the second part,ten most representative textbooks are selected from “Chinese Literature”,“Chinese Culture”,and “Overview of China”,and the specific selection of ancient poems in each textbook is counted in detail,and analyzed from the aspects of dynasty,genre and theme,so as to have a more comprehensive grasp of the characteristics of the selection of ancient poems in cultural textbooks.The third part compares and analyzes the selection of ancient poetry in cultural textbooks and the Comprehensive Chinese Learning in primary school.The analysis shows that cultural textbooks of different categories generally have problems such as complicated and variable arrangements,excessive genre selection,and difficulty.In contrast,the Comprehensive Chinese Learning in primary school have a more systematic and reasonable arrangement of ancient poetry,which is worthy of reference for Teaching Chinese as A Foreign Language in cultural textbooks.In the fourth part,after summarizing the advantages and shortcomings of the current selection of ancient poetry in cultural textbooks,suggestions are proposed for the design of forms,the selection of poetry,the use of multimedia network technology,and the compilation of a set of cultural textbooks.Finally,teaching suggestions are proposed for using cultural textbooks in teaching ancient poetry,such as making full use of cultural textbooks,focusing on teaching targets,and integrating poetry teaching into cultural activities.All in all,a comprehensive and systematic study on the selection of ancient poetry in cultural textbooks will help to further play the role of ancient poetry in language and culture teaching and cultural communication. |
