| English grammar is an important part of English language knowledge,and English language knowledge is the focus of English teaching.However,the present situation of English grammar teaching in senior high school is not satisfactory.And with the promulgation of English Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 edition),the difficulty of English grammar teaching has been further increased.How to effectively improve the effect of English grammar teaching and cultivate students’ comprehensive English ability has become the focus of English grammar teaching at this stage.This study aims to apply TBLT to English grammar teaching,carry out English grammar teaching experiments,and verify whether TBLT can effectively inspire students’ interest in learning English grammar and improve their English grammar level in senior high school English grammar teaching.This study adopts experimental method,questionnaire method and interview method.This study explores the feasibility and effectiveness of TBLT in English grammar teaching through the experiment of English grammar teaching in Class 8 and Class 9,Grade 1,X Middle School,Luoyang City.In the experiment,Class 8 was the experimental class and Class 9 was the controlled class.There were 50 students in each class.The experimental class adopts task-based language teaching,while the controlled class adopts the traditional 3Ps teaching method.Through the self-compiled questionnaire,the author learned about the overall cognition of senior high school English grammar of the experimental class and the controlled class before the experiment,and learned about the experimental class’ s views on the application of task-based language teaching to senior high school English grammar teaching after the experiment.At the same time,10 students were randomly selected from the experimental class for interviews to further understand the students’ views on the application of TBLT in senior high school English grammar teaching.Through the analysis of the experimental data,the following conclusions can be confirmed: compared with the traditional grammar teaching method,task-based language teaching is more effective in improving students’ interest in learning grammar and can significantly improve students’ grammar level(P=0.000). |
