In recent years,with the improvement of China’s international status,China’s exchanges with other countries have become more open and frequent,and this has led to a worldwide "Chinese language fever" and "Chinese culture fever".This change has led to the rapid development of international Chinese language education in China,but at the same time,it has also put forward higher requirements for teaching Chinese culture and national conditions in China.Teaching materials are the link between the overall design and classroom teaching,and quality teaching materials can better achieve the goals of teaching Chinese culture and national conditions,so it is important to conduct research on Chinese national conditions teaching materials.This paper selects Guo,Ning,and Cheng editions of China Profile as the subjects of this study,hoping to compare and analyze these three representative textbooks on Chinese national conditions.We hope to find out the problems and desirable features of the three representative textbooks on China,and try to make some reasonable suggestions for their development.The first chapter is an introduction.It introduces the reason for choosing the topic,the significance and purpose of the study,the research object,and the research method,and outlines the current status of research on culture and national affairs textbooks in the academic field.The second chapter is a comparative analysis of the philosophy,layout and teaching contents of the three textbooks.In comparing the teaching contents of the three textbooks,this paper refers to the newly released Reference Framework for Teaching Chinese Culture and National Condition for International Chinese Language Education,which identifies the problems in the writing of the textbooks and summarizes the overall writing situation of the three textbooks.The third chapter is the statistics and analysis of the questionnaire results.This paper collects the opinions and views of foreign students on the teaching materials of Chinese national conditions by distributing questionnaires.Chapter 4 presents the problems of the three textbooks,and then proposes suggestions for the development of international Chinese language education textbooks based on the results of the questionnaires.The conclusion is the conclusion of this paper.Through comparing the three textbooks,we found that there are some problems in the development of the three textbooks,such as the lack of clarity in the target audience,the lack of guidance in the layout design,the lack of comprehensive selection of teaching contents,the lack of cross-cultural communication exercises,and the lack of supporting teaching resources.In summary,this paper proposes some suggestions for the development of the national context textbooks: first,to clarify the teaching targets and develop graded or country-specific textbooks;second,to optimize the layout and teaching contents of the textbooks and enhance their practicality;third,to increase the number of cross-cultural communication exercises and design cultural experience activities;fourth,to improve the supporting teaching resources and develop three-dimensional teaching materials;fifth,to tell a good Chinese story and enhance the interestingness of the textbooks. |
