A Study Of Tang Poetry By Japanese Scholar Xiading Yahong

Shiding Yahong is one of the masters of Japanese Tang poetry research.The research results of Ding Yahong’s Tang poetry are fruitful,and more than ten papers have been published in major journals at home and abroad,and the collection of "Bai Letian’s world" has been published.Xiading Yahong’s study of Tang Dynasty poetry is mainly composed of poetry style research,poet group research,era trend research and poet case study.Among them,poet case study is the most characteristic and innovative value.Xiading Yahong conducted a comprehensive study of Tang Dynasty poetry,summarized the style characteristics of different poetry styles,and uniquely grasped the personal and contemporary reasons for the change of poetry style and the relationship between poetry and prose.This paper studies the groups of poets in the middle Tang Dynasty,including Bai Juyi,Liu Zongyuan,Han Yu,Yuan Zhen,Liu Yuxi,etc.,and tries to reveal the consistent characteristics of their poetry styles.This paper studies the ideological trend of the Yuanhe era,and tries to reveal the role of the political situation in the middle Tang Dynasty in promoting poetry from romance to reality.Xiading Yahong also conducted a case study of Tang Dynasty poets,and selected three poets,Bai Juyi,Liu Zongyuan and Han Yu,to study and sort out their life chronology,ideas,work interpretation,poetic transformation and other contents.Compared with domestic research,Xiading Yahong used a foreign scholar to put forward the love theme of Bai Juyis’ long hate song’,Bai Juyi’s ’both’ and ’Dushan’ thoughts are in the same position,and Liu Zongyuan and Han Yu ’s early and late poems have the characteristics of ancient style to modern style.The demonstration of the changes reflects innovative insights and open interpretations.His research on Tang poetry reflects the main characteristics of exotic background,broad vision,multiple citations,return to text,three-dimensional intersection and comparison,which enriches the research results of Japanese Tang poetry,and has reference value for us to borrow the stones of other mountains and polish our own jade.However,his research also has some shortcomings,such as the scope of his research is slightly narrow and the skills of his argument need to be strengthened.In short,Yahong Shiding’s study of Tang poetry is reflected in the context of Japanese culture.
